Featured in 360 West Magazine as a designer vacation home, this property combines the finest lake location with the best features of country life: stunning sunsets and a quiet, peaceful setting. The home sits at the point where Long Creek meets Lake Granbury and the Brazos River. It is private with abundant wildlife and some of the best fishing and kayaking this area has to offer. The generous single level living quarters are well suited for hosting groups, meetings and multi-generational stays. Multiple indoor and outdoor living areas give space for guests of all ages to spread out and enjoy. Early mornings and evenings are the best times to spot deer walking through the brush as well as many species of birds wading in the water. The backyard is a bird watchers paradise! The private boat ramp can accommodate small fishing vessels as well as flat bottom boats. But you do not have to have a boat to enjoy lake access here! Exploring the waterscape in one of our top notch kayaks will bring hours of enjoyment. Amenities abound in this spacious property. From a full outdoor kitchen (including a traditional gas grill / Blackstone grill and pizza oven) to a large cowboy grill/pit, ping pong table, kayaks, golf putting green , fire pits and a hot tub - this property will provide the over the top experience you are looking for! The location is perfect, just a 10 minute drive to the historic square, grocery stores, drug stores and shopping. Yet, when you are here, you feel secluded and far from the hustle of city life. The entire home and outdoor area is covered by a mesh WiFi system with the highest speeds available. There is also a Sonos sound system available indoors and outdoors. This property is just an hour from DFW airport and 45 minutes from Fort Worth or 15 minutes from Weatherford. Texas is famous for southern hospitality which is why we make every effort to provide you with everything you need and more during your stay. This comfortable home is stocked for 18 guests but can host up to 22 guests on property ($25 per additional guest) and is perfect for family gatherings, girls weekends, corporate team building, wellness retreats and reunions. Well, in this case, this VRBO home is even more beautiful in person! We booked this for a girl's getaway weekend. There were 15 of us and everyone wants to make this an annual trip now. Jenna is an amazing host and has thought of everything. So many extra touches...from books, binoculars, specialty teas, soft throws, first aid kits, to frozen eye masks (wish I had found those sooner)! The house is decorated beautifully, each room with a different vibe and feel. The bathrooms are incredible and are stocked with wonderful bath products from her store. The soaking tubs are pure bliss. The dawn and dusk hours are magic (especially in the hot tub with a fire), the area is teaming with wildlife and birds. We had some resident Canadian geese who kept us company, and friendly neighborhood ducks who visited each morning on the incredible back patio. We had so much fun kayaking along the waterways too. This location is close enough to town to go in and explore the historic square and have a lovely dinner, but far enough away to feel like you are out immersed in nature. The location is in a rural neighborhood, but the view is unobstructed by other houses due to the unique location on the creek that feeds into the lake. It's like a private cove. Perfect for birdwatching, and watching the sunrise and sunset. Jenna and her husband have several other VRBOs too, all look as unique and beautiful as this one. We will be back! ##### Sandy E.
