Même en montrant ma réservation ebookers , la personne à la réception continuait de prétendre que je n avais pas de réservation «  puisqu elle ne figurait pas sur leur liste » . 3 heures de perdues à discuter avant d avoir enfin une chambre …. Cela gâche le séjour , surtout lorsque on ne passe qu une nuit dans un endroit magique …

Belle chambre confortable et literie excellente, super salle de bains, mais fonctionnement acrobatique de la douche.... Accueil parfait à la réception. Très bon service en général La seule chose décevante, il n'y a pas de bar dédié, se trouve dans la cafétéria, dommage. Très bonne restauration. Carte des vins abordable. L'endroit est magique

Inoubliable !
A 2 pas de l'Alhambra un luxueux hôtel dans un cadre magnifique. La chambre (petite pour 3) donnait sur le jardine l'entrée (dommage pour l'intimité) mais superbement décorée avec une salle de bain magnifique. Tout est feutré et classe, jusque dans les détails. Le petit déjeuner servi dans un très belle salle est bon. Je vous recommande vivement la demi pension. Nous avons dîné face au Generalife d'un repas très raffiné (choix sur la carte du restaurant, boisson en plus).

Un bel écrin qui cache une belle arnaque
Franchement, passez votre chemin...à moins d'aimer les attrapes touristes, cet hotel à subi une rénovation qui,de l'intérieur, dénature complètement le charme originel du couvent (j'y ai sejourne il y a 15 ans, a l'epoque on avait vraiment l'impression de vivre le couvent de l'epoque). maintenant les chambres sont impersonnelles, sans doute pour satisfaire une clientele internationale (US, Asie) qui se rassure dans des standards inpersonnels d'hôtellerie de chaine. le lit est ultra dur, bref le sommeil est tout sauf réparateur malgré la quietude des lieux. La cerise sur le gâteau: le service, une honte. Personnel froid, aucune aide proposée pour les bagages ( alors que je suis enceinte). Le pire demeurt la cafeteria, la vue est magnifique mais le personnel désagréable, ils ont l'air de subir leur job, soupirent, mettent une éternité à venir débarrasser, servir...le gaspacho je l'ai renvoyé en cuisine, cela semblait être un semblant de gaspacho dilue dans 2/3 d'eau. Une honte pour ce genre d'établissement qui pourtant a un tel potentiel car le lieu est magique. De vrais problèmes de gestion et de service. Bref un vrai attrape touriste, beaucoup trop cher pour les prestations (300 Eur payes pour une chambre standard) ne succombez pas a cette mascarade, évitez la chaîne Parador de manière générale. amateurs de vieilles demeures pleines de charme converties en hotels, vous avez à présent bien d'autres solutions en Espagne.

Le point positif est la situation exceptionnelle du parador, au coeur même de l alhambra et la beauté extérieur de l établissement. Pour le reste, la chambre est petite, sombre, les tapis au sol sont sales, la propreté de la salle de bain n est pas garantie. Bref les prestations ne sont pas a la hauteur du prix , trop cher !

Localisation parfaite bien sûr, pour les visites, mais aussi pour les vues magnifiques. Excellent dîner avec un guitariste agréable et très doué. Personnel impeccable. Tout aurait été parfait si ce n'étaient les deux (gros) cafards trouvés dans le lavabo le matin. Apparemment passés par les canalisations, mais lavabo bien fait, ils n'ont pas pu sortir! Et j'ai pu (du) abréger leur existence. Quand même un peu désagréable.

The Parador is a destination within a destination. Not only are you INSIDE the Alhambra complex, the hotel grounds are magnificent! Staff is super welcoming, and very helpful. Get your Alhambra tickets early. We were happy we already had them as they were sold out before we arrived.

The property is unique on the location and the history and the design of the building itself. However, I wish the hotel should work with the Alhambra and provide access to all areas when customers study in the hotel. For the price of the hotel charge compared with the tickets for all entrance fee of the site it should be easy and I don't think any guess would complain about the additional cost on top of the hotel fee for the convenience.

Wonderful to be within the magical Alhambra in an old (but renovated!) Franciscan convent. Staff was terrific. My only suggestion is that they give guests the option of not having sheets washed daily to save on environmental costs. A superb hotel. Quiet and with an unforgettable view and solarium. Excellent breakfast too.

Location! Located in an old monastery beside the Alhambra, this hotel is unique. There are no other nearby eating options or entertainment, but you don’t need either. Room was quiet and comfortable. Food was excellent. Service great.

The experience at the Parador is unforgettable not only because of its location in the heart of the Alhambra, with wonderful views of the Generalife, but because its located in the Convent of San Francisco of the XV century founded by Queen Elizabeth - Franciscana Tertiary - after the reconquest. Its walls protect the old Nasrid Palace of the Infants and was also the first place chosen by Queen Elizabeth as the tomb of the Catholic Monarchs.
