The hotel was easily accessd by car and ample parking in the onsite garage. We left our car at the hotel and used taxis to get around, cheaper than paying for parking and more convenient. Breakfast buffet was great value. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bed was firm, so rated 4/5 for comfort.

Enjoyed our stay
Lovely hotel with very spacious rooms. Bed extremely comfortable. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Proximity to the Palace is great if you are visiting.

Great location with cheap taxi fare to city centre and Alhambra. Rooms in good condition throughout. Only criticisms: bar lacks atmosphere and closes early which is not great considering that there is little around the hotel as an alternative No coffee in room However this is looking for minor issues. Great price, good place to staff and superb staff throughout

Beautiful, fresh renovated hotel close to Alhambra. Excellent condition of the property and friendly staff. Parking (paid) available. Bus station in front of the property. Would recommend to a friend.

Average location and poor onsite amenities
We picked this hotel due to it's easy access to Granada and the ski resort of Sierra Nevada (30 min drive away) The location was good but the hotel has a few issues that families should consider. The hotel is modern but the bar and restaurant were rarely open. During our 5 night stay, it was only open once for 1hr (valentines night). But for the rest of our stay it was never open which was frustrating as we had young kids. We ended up eating regularly at the local mall which has a large food court that catered for all tastes. The breakfast buffet was fine, with a good variety. Although some of the hot dishes weren't exactly hot! Our room was good, considering we were travelling with two young kids under 10. Overall, the hotel was good for exploring the region and if you just needed somewhere to put your head down ahead of a busy days exploring and value easy access from transport links, especially if you have a hire car then this is a good choice and value for money. But if you want good onsite amenities such as a bar and restaurant and being able to explore the vicinity on foot then give this place a miss and go for something more central in Grenada.

Overall great. Staff great, hotel all great. Only slight criticism is that the bed was a little hard compared to what I am used to and the pillow a little too thin. Suited us as it has secure underground parking (extra charge but reasonable for Granada). Easy to get to from motorway. We would stay there again.

VFM stay option in Granada close to Alhambra
The hotel is a bit outside the city centre however, city centre is just 25 minute walk from the hotel. The property is very close to Alhambra which is a big plus. They have good Arab baths in the hotel itself that relaxes one after day long walks around the city centre, Alhambra, Albaicin and Sacromonte. I personally prefer modern walkin shower enclosures over old school bath tubs and all their rooms are only with bath tubs. Beds are hard and comfy although pillows aren't. Staff at the hotel is excellent and overall a good VFM property that is close to key locations in Granada.

The property was clean fit for purpose. I loved the mountain view it was unique and magic. However, I did not like the fact that the bathroom radiator was not working, hence the bathroom was cold. I also prefer the duvets better than the heavy blankets.

What a great place at a reasonable price. Only four stops from yesterday Alhambra and a twenty minute downhill walk down. Room was great, staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

Very nice hotel. Good bus service to historical shopping district (1.8ā‚¬). However expect to pay 13ā‚¬ for taxi from/to train station. Note: hotel location in Google Maps and Expedia is wrong.

It took a long time for our rooms to be ready and when we finally got the keys, they didnā€™t work in the doors and had to go from the 6 th floor to ground floor TWICE to get key cards that worked! The following morning at 9:30 the maid walked straight into our bedroom whilst we were in bed to clean it which was not acceptable. On checking out I asked if they had charged all extras (ā‚¬23 cafeteria bill) to our room and the receptionist said yes. Two hours later I proceeded to receive phone calls on my Irish mobile telling me that I had left without paying a bill, which is not what had happened at all. We were treated poorly and everything was very disorganized and it was very disappointing.

Excellent stay - Transportation tips
Hotel was excellent-including breakfast and helpfulness of the staff. We selected the hotel as it has parking ($/day) there is a bus stop outside that runs every 10-15 min to the historic area / downtown 1.40 euro per person but it stops about 11:30pm (which is early for Granada) - you can also transfer once within an hour or so to a second bus (helpful if going to the mirador San NicolƔs for example) a cab back after that time for 3 was about 7 euro. All the cab drivers were super helpful also. The hotel is also convenient for the Alhambra-a cab up the hill was about 6 euro.

The room was comfortable and clean, which is probably the most important thing. The breakfast was also very good, as were the food and drinks from the bar. The pool and surrounding area were ideal for relaxing. All in all we were very happy.

We stayed at the Hotel Marcia Real de la Alhambra for one night before visiting the Alhambra. Itā€™s a nice, clean hotel that is just a little dated. Staff was helpful and check in was easy.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room and bed were comfortable and nice well maintained The only problem was that I got bad allergic attack.in the room. this was due to air-condition or bed cover I am not sure. The second problem was in the gim the treadmill and bike were out of order. In general the hotel is a pleasant practical place to stay in Granada with excellent service and good price

The property is in excellent condition not exactly in the city center but for excellent choice for the people with cars. Alhambra and city center were easily approachable by cars. The amenities were great.
