I booked this house in particular because it was close and had four bedrooms and two bathrooms and I needed a place to cook for Thanksgiving. We had quite a few issues as the house needs some updates. It doesn’t look quite like the pictures. There was not the proper bedding for this time of year so two of my people slept down on the older couch where it was warm. They also had one TV in the entire place which stinks if you want to go into your own space after a long day, the yard was unkept, and the lights did not work around the hot tub. There was one dishwashing tab so I left the dishwasher full. There were also no floor mats in the bathroom, which would’ve been nice when you get out of the shower or one by the back door when you came in from the hot tub, you can see why the hardwood floors are a little worn out in that area. I do realize I rented an older home, but for what I paid I do not feel it was worth the money. ##### Jennifer N. There were 2 beds less than the listing noted but we were able to double up in 2 of the bedrooms which we dealt with. After talking with the management company they said they updated the listing to reflect the correct number of beds. They also refunded a portion of our for the inconveniences which is why we left a 4 star rating. ##### Julie L. Well equipped kitchen and nice dining room allowed us to have several meals at home.Pet-friendly was a plus for our two small dogs - big fenced in yard gave them plenty of room to run around.Comfortable living room with flat screen TV.Spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds, plenty of water and towels. We didn’t use the hot tub or fire pit. We found that the house had 4 bedrooms, 3 with king beds and 1 with a wide single. The house is “historic” and there is some very apparent water damage and settling, but comfortable. Floors were not clean and it would have been nice to have enough towels and toilet paper for 9 people. Not enough dishwasher soap, or laundry pods either. We had to buy our own. We paid a lot to stay for 4 nights and had to wash towels in order to all bathe. There were mouse droppings and a carton of cigarettes under the trundle bed, but I guess that’s understandable. When I first arrived I wasn’t able to get in the home due to the lock box being jammed so I wasn’t able to check in until after 4\. We did have some suggestions: Bigger / better quality bath towels. More than one bath towel per guest More than one kitchen towel Directions on how to open the daybed Sheets for day bed. Clean spider webs found inside the house Spray for mosquitos outside especially in the backyard More paper towels for the kitchen A couple more kitchen garbage bags We didn’t plan to use the hot tub but there should be some instructions on how to use it (unless I missed those) Thank you! ##### Mary K.
