Loved the binder full of local tourism knowledge and instruction manuals. Whoever cleans the house did a great job. However, the house was in pretty bad shape, literally. Not disrepair, but because it’s so old, everything is a bit jenky. All the floors are uneven with quite a few tripping hazards. You need to duck in several places. Oct 19, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy We enjoyed our time at this vrbo. They have clearly put in a lot of effort to make a dated home feel modern. We appreciated all of the plugs, remote ceiling fans, bedroom lighting, etc. the kitchen may have been one of the best stocked that we stayed at with every kitchen gadget from a countertop ice maker (very helpful!) to a waffle maker. The house is on the historic side, so some of the settling has made things uneven, including the stairs- so just be mindful of that. This property was halfway between two WV locations we needed to be, so it was ideal in that regard. The neighborhood itself was a little dicey. Outside of some street evangelizers, we didnt have any issues.
