This is a Gaeltacht area and Carna is the Irish speaking village in this region. The quiet village of Carna is just 8km away from Tí Mhaggie Holiday Cottage. Cashel a 10 minute drive north is a peaceful seaside village, situated on Cashel Bay, an inlet of Bertarghboy Bay.
