Pink Sands Point is a 5-minute drive from town and 6-minute walk down the beach from Tippy's famous beachfront restaurant and bar. This spectacular house sits on the dune above Unicorn Cay Beach with sweeping beach and ocean views throughout. The 2800-square-foot open-plan great room features 15 foot ceilings and a wall of glass overlooking the beach and ocean. There two living areas and two adjacent dining areas, all with ocean views. The stunning chef's kitchen, which also enjoys ocean views, is finished in granite and stainless steel. It is a double kitchen, with extensive counter space and two of every major appliance. There is a powder room and a laundry room off of the great room. Step out through the eight-foot sliding glass doors on the rear of the great room and onto the vast ipe deck with beach and ocean views. The deck is furnished for both lounging and dining. From the deck, a flight of steps and a short path take you onto the pink sands and aqua waters of Unicorn Cay Beach. This beach is well protected by the barrier reef and has a perfect sandy bottom. There is also an area where the reefs are closer in & have excellent snorkeling. Back inside, Pink Sands Point's Main House has four master suites, each with a king bed and a large, private en-suite bath. The two front bedrooms have direct ocean views from every window. The two rear bedrooms have partial ocean views. Step out the front door of the great room and onto the other large ipe deck, which overlooks our private heated pool, 35 feet by 16 feet. There are also several guest cottages around the pool which can be added for an additional charge if needed. Amenities at Pink Sands Point include heated pool, super-fast Starlink internet, air conditioning throughout, cable TV, kayaks, gas grill, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, a full-property back up generator, and an outdoor shower. Tippy's beachfront restaurant & bar is a 6-minute walk down the beach. La Bougainvillea's excellent beachfront restaurant & bar is a 3 minute drive. The town of Governors Harbour, the main town on the island, is a 5 minute drive from the house. Beach towels, coolers, every appliance and kitchen gadget, a huge “chi-chi hut” for shade on the beach. The reef off the beach is breathtaking as are the views from the house. We saw lobster, rays, tons of fish and conch right off our beach. Multiple great restaurants either a 5 minute walk or drive from the property. The house was very spacious and had 4 master bedrooms with king beds and comfortable mattresses, TVs, and bathrooms of their own with plenty of towels and beach towels. There were double kitchens that were very well stocked and plenty of space for playing cards, games, etc. The owner happened to be there and he was very kind and accommodating to us. This property has Starlink satellite services, and great TV reception, as well as a backup generator and cistern. The pool was very nice, loved the fact that you do not have to pay to heat it, and it had very comfortable and plentiful seating and loungers around the perimeter. The covered back patio had the view of the ocean and a path down to a pretty much private beach where we snorkeled and played beach golf in the sand. My favorite thing was walking at night on the beach with the full moon, it seemed like we had the whole island to ourselves. The house sits on a property that can be rented individually or for a larger group with 3 other buildings that can be rented. It would be a great property for family reunions, wedding parties, or smaller groups as well.As far as the island of Eleuthera, it is a great place to come if you seek an uncrowded, restful atmosphere. Some of the places we enjoyed were, the local Farmer's market, Tippy's, La Bougainvillea, Neek's, 1648 An Island Restaurant, and the Buccaneer all within driving distance of the house.You will want to rent a car as it is the most favorable method to get around. This is our 3rd trip to the island and we will never stay anywhere but here! The house was amazing! Spotless and filled with all the amenities you need. The caretaker did a wonderful job communicating with us and was very helpful.
