« This is a great family vacation spot . Having 3 bathrooms with 3 showers was a real plus a group of 9. The location is near several family friendly hiking areas (Wildwood Rec Area, Zig Zag Falls, Mirror Lake). Government Camp and Timberline Lodge are a short drive away. A grocery store was a 2-minute drive away. The firepit overlooking the river was where we spent most of our time. This is a wonderful place to get away from it all. « First, this property has a lot of character. Not only is it in the beautiful forest land east of Portland, but the house itself is wild! Very large, many beds and bedrooms, and every room has its own character. It can host large groups very comfortably. « Very quaint cabin. Well sized for us two adults. Beds comfy and it was plenty warm. Outside temps were lo 30’s. Some sunshine, some drizzle. Didn’t utilize any cooking as we were attending a destination wedding where all meals were provided at another rental location. Wi- Fi was flawless which is extremely important for us with multiple devices each. Very charming place and would return to same if another opportunity presents. Totally recommend! »
