The house was impeccably clean, and the views were simply amazing. One of the highlights was the ease of access of the house itself—it was very senior-friendly, which made it perfect for my elderly parent. She was able to stay in the bedroom downstairs on the main living area and there is a ramp leading to the front door. There are stairs to reach the beach area, but my mother was able to rely on the railing to reach the beach. I also really appreciated that both of the bathrooms had large showers - both with plenty of shelf area to place your toiletries. We were able to watch colorful sunrises each morning from one of the several porches or from inside the house in the sunroom. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and then some. We used this house as our central point for our daytrips. It takes about an hour to get to all the restaurants in Bar Harbor and we also visited some of the local harbors for restaurants that were closer to the house.
