I loved the deck!! we brought our 2 dogs (also a huge perk for us) the deck is all enclosed so the doggies could enjoy being outside and off leash with us. I wasnt aware it was like starte park/campground but it was an issue it was a very nice quiet parker with a nice lake (but no gas motors allowed on the lake) 40 mins way theres a huge lake where they are allowed so no big deal. Everything is on a small scale but it has all the parts. The outdoor areas are especially lovely with the fire pit, deck and gazebo. We were there in August and it was very quiet apart from the kids in gas-powered golf carts. The beach was very empty. Cute little store with some grocery essentials and soft serve. We did not use the pool because that seemed to be where all the kids were hanging out. We brought our dog and she had a wonderful time. Lots of deer everywhere. This gated community is very interesting - hundreds of wooded lots with trailer homes on them. But upscale and well maintained for the most part. Also very large Russian community.
