"As we were going on a cruise holiday departing from Barcelona port, this hotel was absolutely ideally located on La Rambla with so many bars and restaurants to chose from. The nightlife vide was excellent! It's a good 30 minute walk to the port so you may wish to consider booking a taxi, but we managed to wheel our cases easily to the port. The hotel itself is not modern in appearance but has a unique and traditional charm from the high ceilings, sweeping staircases and views of La Ramblas. Our room had a double bed and a single (ideal for putting the suitcases on), very clean and well presented. The zircon was efficient and kept us lovely and cool at night. The hotel was super quiet at night too which helped with sleeping peacefully. Breakfast options were adequate with meats, cheeses, breads, cereals, yogurts and limited hot options too which included scrambled and hard boiled eggs, tortilla, teas, coffees and juices. All in all and enjoyable and comfortable stay in a location that cannot be beaten for the price! Would stay again. "

"The rooms were expected to be ready by 3:00. However, of our 4 rooms, one was not ready until after 4:00. Not a big deal usually except we had been traveling overseas and were needing to get some rest. The doorman was very friendly and helpful with information about the area. Staff was very pleasant."

"This hotel was perfectly located to walk to the Cathedral and Roman wall. There were so many options for food and shopping: the hotel itself was located in a beautiful building and the staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. We had luggage to hold on the day of our arrival as we had just disembarked from a Virgin Voyage cruise until our room was ready for check in. They accommodated us and shared some sites to see. We decided to take a very long walk to The Museu de Barca, but a taxi from the hotel to Barca will only run about 10-15£. If you have comfortable shoes, you can see so much in just a few hours. The room was decently spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable: the bathroom and water pressure were top tier, especially after a long day of site seeing. I highly recommend this hotel. "
