Everything was nearly perfect except my room’s AC was not cooling as it should. I did report it but it was late in the day and it wasn’t on time before my departure.

Dissapointing
We were not expecting this type of accomodation, it was way too hectic and it felt like I was in Las Vegas not a beach resort. I booked this hotel on recommendation so it was my fault that I came here, having not done research on the type of accomodation. The rooms were not soundproof we could hear our neighbours all times even when they were watching tv, I mentioned that to reception at checkout and they said I should have complained and they would have sent security. I would have preferred a quiet beachfront resort, and this is totally opposite. The staff were all amazing very professional and attentive to all our needs.

This is a beautiful property however we were there at off season (Oct 3). Bartender was not overly friendly which resulted in us seeking a restaurant outside the hotel rather than stay at hotel. Check in was AMAZING!!!! Breakfast and service was also AMAZING! The property is someone secluded and the village restaurants although highly rated we’re closed for the season.

Ok
It’s good but I don’t think I would stay there again. Nice hotel with a good breakfast. Not close to the beach, they have an old shuttle to take you to a public beach 20 mins away and the beach isn’t really impressive. Bed and sheets aren’t luxurious. Toiletries are aqua di Parma which was nice.

Hotel needs updating but in fairness, the staff more than make up for it. Breakfast is wonderful, lunch crazy expensive. Having a car is almost a must.

Great location rooms are in poor condition. Bed and pillows are extremely hard and outdated furniture. Distance from main lobby was 3 min walk without access to elevators in difficulty walking terrain. Breakfast amazing. There is a serios transportation issue on the island. We were left stranded at a restaurant 20 min away from hotel with any taxi or any other form of transportation available at 1 am.

Inside Poltu Quatu Village there are many restaurants in a 3 minutes walking distance and of course if you want to have a dinner in other restaurants outside Poltu Quatu you are 6/7 minutes distance by car and is normal that during the hight season it will be more difficult to find taxi or transfer if you don't have your own car. We would like to thank you also to have specially mentioned our Breakfast. All our staff made a great work in guaranteeing the highest level of service and leading operations in a natural and friendly way to make Guests feel all the warmth of our hospitality. Disappointing
Positives - pool area is nice, sadly didn’t get to use it because of the freak weather though! Spa facility is decent for a half an hour break. Breakfast is great. Room is decent and clean. Negatives - definitely not a 5 star hotel. Was given a twin not a double. Only 1 restaurant in the port open and that was the one in the hotel. Complete rip off in the restaurant and bar. Generally unwilling to show prices (no room mini bar prices available even when I tried to ask reception, refused point blank to give me a wine list in the restaurant and was just told, it’s a Vermentino and will be about £70-80 euros. Ok Mr Vague. As a regular visitor to Sardinia and I booked this for my 40th birthday I was a bit gutted tbh.

Wonderful few days

Incredible resort, We had an incredible time. Staff were very friendly and kind to us. Not exactly kid friendly but we made it work. The main restaurant does not allow children and the atmosphere is a more quiet and relaxed one. That didn't stop us from having fun but I will admit I often felt like we were bothering people.

It’s a village unto itself . Nice accommodations on an amazing. Piece of property. Good selection of restaurants around the marina . Shuttle to beaches . Great size pool . Great shops .. club music .. could use coffee machine into rooms .

Amazing and beautiful location. However, this is not a 5 but a 4 star hotel really. The service was disappointing. For example, I couldn't find anyone to give me a pool towel, so I had to open a cupboard and get it myself. They also tried to overcharge me for a food bill that wasn't ours, and 30 euros per night extra because we were 2 people in the room, and the reservation was for only 1 person. Eventually, they removed both charges. On the positive side, the gym was really nice, directly overlooking the yachts on the port. Gym hours of operation was quite restricted though.

The property in all is nice rooms we saw on site do not look anything like the real thing no coffee in room no tissue in room furniture and decor very poor for such a property no tv in bedroom the entry door is the patio sliding door

Wondering stay
I couldn’t ask for anything more. The hotel is really beautiful , staff are helpful and polite, they upgraded me, view and scenery is jaw dropping. Swimming pool very big and nice. The only draw back is that they don’t have direct access to the beach. But they provide a private shuttle service to the nearest most amazing beach. Overall it was an amazing stay and I feel recharged and peaceful after my stay .

Memorable stay!
At check-in, we were a bit disappointed to realise that the Junior Suit we booked with Expedia was not the same one they show on their webpage. However, Romania the booking manager was so kind & helpful trying to find us a substitute. After showing us to 3 optional rooms which are either too dark or too big for our purpose, we decided to stay with the one offered initially. Overall, the staffs were very courteous & helpful. The setting is beautiful. There are 3 beautiful beaches nearby which are accessible by the hotel guests. The breakfast was amazing, which one could enjoy in the beautiful restaurant overlooking the Marina. A memorable stay indeed!

Lovely Hotel
Lovely hotel. Apartment room we were staying in was spacious and had a splendid view of the harbour. Pool area was pleasant and most of the time there was plenty of space. However over the weekend this became very busy. The pool attendant was very helpful. Breakfast was slightly below expectations for a 5* Hotel. Pastry selection was good but the hot food not so good. Also the orange juice was not fresh. Service was slow at busy times (after 0930) and there were occasionally long queues to get a table. Dining in the hotel was very expensive. (e.g. a club sandwich at the pool costs 30 Euros). I am OK with this as long as the quality matches the price. However, from what we saw of the food sadly this wasn't the case. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

Amazing resort!
The resort is lovely and very well maintained - the pool area is divine! Everything is largely overpriced though so make sure you get a car and explore the great spots nearby. Staff are very helpful but it can be difficult to communicate in English (understandable as we are in Italy!). Especially great breakfast, car parking service, private beach club acces & plush towels.

Not quite a 5* but nice nonetheless
Upon check-in we were in awe of the beauty surrounding the hotel. We were allocated a standaed room with views of a cliff wall (Which was around 2 metres away from our window. So no views of anything but a wall (be advised that this was room no 2223). However, The room itself was pleasant enough and bathroom was a good size. The bed was not as comfortable as those provided in most 5 star hotels that we stay in. I was disappointed that no time had been out aside by the staff to show us around the premises and the amenities. directed from place to place each time we asked and it all felt very disjointed. But once we got exploring, we found many gorgeous places and views from around the hotel. Was disappointed that we were not provided with accurate information about the (pricey) ironing service and found it unusual that they didn't provide an iron (we may stay 5 star hotels but are more than happy to iron our own clothes). However, my friend 'YouTube' and I teamed up to learn how to stream clothes while have a shower.. and voila! Breakfast variety was good but very little was done to replenish cereals or juices. We were arriving for breakfast at 9am on each day and was told twice that cereal had run out. The gym is good! It's clean with plenty of natural light which made work outs pleasant! It's things like this that made our stay slightly underwhelming. The hotel itself is beautiful and has a lot to offer. But the service is not quite there to offer it. Which is a shame...

Nice hotel in a beautiful setting
NIce Hotel, classic room was facing a rock so no views at all. Room was fine other than the view, bathroom was good, good breakfast but staff with the exception of the nice girl at the front (the Hostess) seems to be in a rush all the time and so stressed. Pool is very nice. Drinks are very expensive (hotel price) but 5 Euro for a bottle of water in the mini fridge is a bit exaggerated. Over all, a nice hotel. 4 stars

Our stay on the Costa Smeralda was lovely, however the hotel could do with some improvements. Firstly the amount of wasps in the dining room at breakfast each morning was atrocious and the staff made no efforts to do anything about it. One morning I executed 7 of them while sat down for breakfast!! Secondly the room I booked (1 bedroom apartment) was not as described and did not have a bath or a comfortable living area as we expected. Also there was an invasion of ants into the room every day - we resorted to killing them with jungle formula! In many years of travel I've never had to kill as many insects as I did during my stay here. These complaints aside, the pool area was lovely, the quality of the breakfast each morning was fantastic and the local area was very nice.

Make sure you don't pay a lot
This hotel is all about making money. I imagine it's because it's due for an upgrade. The drinks are expensive, the air condition is restricted, the bedding is subpar, the staff is full of fake smiles and inauthentic projections. On a positive note, the pool is nice and the amenities surrounding the hotel are above average (take advantage of the supermarket nearby for water, snacks, and wine). I would say this hotel is right choice as long as you don't pay over $200 a night.

Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel, attentive staff, good location...what more can you ask for! The free shuttle services to the beaches were good. The beaches they took as to were good also.
