Botanika is a beautiful Hilton Curio property located opposite the airport (not a problem) on the edge of a lovely piece of jungle property on the edge of the bay. To be clear the bay is a bit of a walk from the property but there are nature walking trails. Pros: Modern, clean rooms; thoughtful staff & housekeeping); excellent restaurant and bar at pool; and a fantastic pool/Jacuzzi they have bulk sunscreen (great idea). The beach shuttle (4x4 Land Cruiser) takes you to a private, quiet paradise with full beach bar & menu. We literally were the only ones on the beach for a 1/2 mile each way. We had a wonderful lunch after a few restful hours walking, swimming and lounging They provided beach towels. Walk back to the Crocodile Bay property and Dining: Great breakfast but a bit pricey, dinner was very nice at the restaurant. The pool bar’s quesadilla was an amazing choice. Service: The restaurant staff and drivers are all wonderful—incredibly friendly/helpful. Olman's welcome on the pier and his easygoing manner made us feel at home straight away. We loved our room (which was spotlessly clean) - the furnishings and the wrap-around balcony with its jungle view and sounds. So much wildlife to watch and listen to!
