Good location, decent property, fairly clean. The bathtub was in terrible condition (cracks, sagging floor, etc.)

room (133) was spacious and clean. safety catch on the exterior door was snapped off and had not been replaced. bedside tables on both sides of the bed, which is a big plus. no exhaust fan in the bathroom and only bars of soap, no shampoo. ground outside non-smoking room littered with cigarette butts.

Property area was small. The business around the property was a truck flat bed business. However the property itself was well kept.

They basically robbed me of my money and woulsnt let me check in at the building but checked me in online and refusedto let me in the building so they took my money and stated no refunds

Sorry you had this experience. The property did not charge you only Expedia did because you prepaid but when you showed up to the property you refused to pay for the correct amount of people you had therefore we could not honor an incorrect reservation. Please reach out to your reservations about refund as the property did not take any payment.

Staff is very friendly, property is showing it’s age, but they are trying thier best to keep up with it..
Only one things I did not like is, I requested non smoking room but all of thier non smoking room have strong odor of smoking.. I hope they can fix this.

I like that there is no carpet in the room. It has wooden floors. It's also close to a mega store that has several fast food options and convenience shopping.

The check in was not easy and the receptionist was not friendly. We wanted rooms close to each other and were given rooms opposite sides of the building.

We would definitely stay here again. Great location, easy access to food, fuel and 95. Clean. Besides a few minor maintenance issues (tighten bath door knobs and adjust bath door, and tighten sink faucet) which we reported to the front desk upon checkout it was a great choice.

Room was ok.
Check in was great. The room though was in need of some help. The mattress.. super comfy but the outlets in the walls by the bed didn’t work, floors hadn’t been properly cleaned in ages.. the room interior just needs to be touched up and given a good look at and repaired.
I’ll stay again but in a different room.
The room was smoking which is what I wanted but there’s no ceiling vent system to help keep the smoke down. That probably needs to be corrected first and this is coming from a smoker.
Location for us is key and we always stop at Kenly on our way to and from Florida for the winter.

I was not allowed to stay after I paid. The motel was advertised as pet friendly. I reserved the room. After arriving, I was told there were no pet friendly rooms available. No refund available.
