I stayed at the hotel for 3 days. It was a distance from the lobby to check-in desk but fine. Enjoyed services, locations, breakfast. Did not have time for a swim but looked appealing. Traffic could be intimidating but that is JAkarta.
"Close to the city centre and majoy shopping malls"
The hotel staff is very accomodating and friendly. Its a very busy hotel thus in the morning sometimes there is no seat for breakfast but the hotel did a rearrangement to accomodate their guests. For me its service well accepted

If you are travelling with children don't pay extra for a club room. The hotel will deny you access to the club lounge and throw you one floor down by the staircase with no ac or proper services.
Rooms all suffer from lack of AC. Once you check in ask them to come fix the ac. Even then you need to drop the temp to the absolute minimum and hope for the best
The lobby is a very imposing one which in reality is NO lobby in the real sense! İt is a most unusual lobby I have seen which doubles as a huge stairway passage way AND a Lobby!
The staff are friendly and courteous. The furniture is getting worn out and very jaded. This Ritz Jakarta may be big deal in Jakarta, but in reality it is a 4 star Ritz compared to other Ritz hotels.

Set in the Setiabudi subdistrict in south Jakarta, the Golden Triangle gets its name from the triangular shape formed by the 3 major highways that bound the area. Home to the well-heeled, this area is saturated with grand residential and office buildings, chic shopping centers, and deluxe hotels. It is equally stunning at night with the colorful light display of the Monas and Welcome Fountain.
