Pros: Very well located in downtown, short walk to convenience store, food/dining, and brewery. Cons: Road/traffic noise on occasion depending on which room you are in, beds aren't the most comfortable but good enough for short stay Good affordable option for ski trips.

The front office says it all. Dated and unpleasant. Owner asked me to look at a 2 rooms before deciding which one I wanted, and gave credit card back stating will not charge me till zI pick a room. I had booked onli e and stuck with the 1st room I saw. Didnt even look at the upper level. I said that I was alone and had lots to carry upstairs. I think he wanted me to pick the upper room. Room very run down, old, and smelled aweful. Old stains on bedding and rip in a pillow cover. One bonus was that the Columbian coffee in the room was good! CRAPPY MATTRESS, no breakfast and lots of staff loitering around the property. .

This was a great place to stay just to spend a night. It is an older hotel so don’t expect the place to look great from the outside, but it suited my needs perfectly. The bed was comfortable and linen and towels were clean and very neatly laid out. The bathroom was clean and overall a great budget place to spend a night.

Only a few customers staying the night but Expedia said only 3 rooms available. Seems like a lie to keep the room rates higher than should be. Room were over priced for the quality.

This is the motel I like to stay at in Golden. Located next to the Whitetooth Brewery and easy walk to the best restaurants in town. Nothing fancy here, but a good basic accommodations.

I really had mixed feelings about my stay. The location is great. It’s right next to the brewery and there’s lots of places to eat within walking distance. It’s in a quiet location away from main roads. The bed was comfortable and I had a great sleep. The staff in the office were really nice and friendly. The room had very poor lighting and is in need of some updating. Something to hang a hand towel at the sink would be nice too. I might stay there again, but I would definitely look for somewhere else first. I would rather stay at Mary’s than the Rhondo.

The room was clean but the service was terrible. There was no iron and iron broard, no toiletries, TV was not working and so the coffee machine.

The staff were all very friendly and professional. The room, however, was quite poor. Clearly nothing has been renovated since at least the 80s. Refrigerator was extremely loud - had to be unplugged. Bedding was stained, mattresses were worn out and bowled, washroom was heavily water damaged and old.

It was a bed and the room was clean but for the price it was disappointing and the guy at the front desk was miserable. Also it’s scorching hot in BC and the outdoor pool hours are 5-10pm when it’s cooling off and the sun is going down. Very strange.

Ok hotel for one night. Pool and hot tub were nice. Beds are not comfy and the AC wasn't working well. Very noisy. Not sure it was worth $200 a night. Staff were very friendly and check in was easy.
