Located in Gold River, the traditional territory of the Mowachat/Muchalat, Ehattesaht and Nachatlaht Nations. Our quiet space has its own parking and entrance, separate from the rest of our home, but part of the same home, where you’ll fall asleep to a big sky full of stars and wake up to woodland and mountains. If you are a party of 2 requiring the extra room, there is an extra room charge of $50\. Parties greater than 2 are already charged for an extra person(s) and therefore do not incur extra room charge. Both rooms boast a queen bed, lots of storage, and a full bathroom. \*\*Please no dogs unless service dog. When the water is low tree stumps of some areas of deforestation are uncovered. Whilst it is remote it is served by good roads which are required for logging transport. These roads are, mercifully, however very quiet. The campground is basic, pumped water & pit toilets, which in reality take it one stage from wild camping but that is as it should be in a remote area of natural beauty. And, there were even freshly baked chocolate cookies in the room for us when we arrived.
