Gold Hill is a small city situated along the scenic Rogue River, approximately 10 miles north of Medford, in Southern Oregon. Gold Hill has a rich history dating back to the 1850s when gold was discovered in the area, leading to a gold rush and the establishment of the city. Today, visitors can learn about the city's past at the Gold Hill Historical Society Museum. The city is surrounded by picturesque mountains and forests, making it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts. There are several hiking and biking trails in the nearby hills, including the popular Table Rocks trail, which offers panoramic views of the Rogue Valley. Gold Hill is also known for its wineries and vineyards, with several tasting rooms and tours available for visitors to experience the region's wines. The city has a small downtown area with shops and restaurants, as well as a community park and a golf course. This apartment shares one wall with another apartment. This studio apartment has a queen size bed, small dining table, reading chair, fully equipped kitchen with gas stove and river access. Located just off of I-5, Exit 43, our building has a rich history as a 1950's roadside motel. With a recent renovation, we've transformed the space into a modern and comfortable retreat. A 1 hour 20 min drive east will take you to Crater Lake National Park. So come stay with us and experience the perfect blend of nature and convenience. We can't wait to host you! Car Required We live nearby and are available should you need anything. Happy to give recommendations for the area. We respect your privacy and will not be on site. Please note we have a 1 pet max and charge a $25 pet fee. Exceptions can apply for an additional fee upon request. No cats. Single stall shower. The Pacific Northwest has seasonal Box Elder bugs. They like the maple trees and are very hard to prevent. They are completely harmless but can be annoying in the outside areas. We have pest control come often and trim the trees where we can.
