"Relaxing weekend"
Transfer boat was first impression, old and in need of replacement. Resort itself upon arrival was very nice, appeared to be nearly renovated . Check in staff were extremely helpful and very cheerful. Room very spacious and clean with great layout and lovely view of the marina. Exterior needs a wash. Back end of resort was run down and some area should be demolished. Can not get a coffee until 8am, very disappointing. The weekend we stayed they had run out of tomatoes in the cafe.??? Can not get food from Tavern until 12.30 then nothing after 14.30 til 17.30. They was a blonde haired gentlemen in the VR(games) room that was extremely helpful. The games room needs a refurb as do a lot of the games facilities but a lot of fun, with lots to do. I met a young lady working there that said she was the CEOs daughter, what a wonderfull hard working cheerful person. She wanted feedback and explained the future plans for the resort. She is a credit to the resort and her parents. Would gladly have her working for me. Prices of food and drink were no different to anywhere else. Resort was not very busy and yes we had a great time. I hope they can return the entire resort back to its former glory, huge potential. Yes recommend visiting.

"Nice hotel close to the beach and amenities"
Great location close to beach, shops, movies, Twin Towns, cafes and restaurants and a lovely long foreshore walk around the Greenmount Hill. The hotel pool was really well maintained and a pleasure to use. Staff were friendly and helpful and the reception, lifts, apartment etc were really clean. We asked for a room change to get a better view - the middle units are best - and staff were able to oblige which was really nice. Our unit was fine but a couple of disappointing things. One, the patio furniture was solid timber, totally uncomfortable to sit on and heavy to move. Two, it was a two bedroom unit but only had one 3 person lounge, and that was if one person was happy to have their feet up all the time. There was also a small chair, but really not enough comfortable seating. Otherwise, all good and am quite happy to recommend - just do a bit of research first about room location and comfort.

"Excellent hotel, amazing views "
Just returned from an amazing trip staying at Peppers Soul. Beautiful hotel, amazing view from balcony. Apartments are spacious, modern and clean. Location is brilliant, beach on the doorstep, shops, restaurants, bus and tram lines all within a few minutes walk. Only negative would be the early check out time and not being able to check in early after a 24 hour journey from Scotland.

"Great service from owner, but room average"
Peter the owner was great, but the room was average and the fixtures and furnishings were Spartan. * Spa bath was "Out of Order" * Bar fridge was plonked on a cheap table in the middle of the room * Bedside lamps were on cheap plywood tables with no drawers, covered with a cloth * No wine glasses in the room (but they were available at reception) Also, the room was not made up after our first night - we would expect this from a property rated this highly. P.S. The grounds were lovely, and we were given a huge bag of avocados and oranges from his trees - thanks Peter !
