There are no restaurants or stores in walking distance so buying groceries ahead is necessary. There are few cool restaurants or bars to walk to so Uber is a good idea. The decoration and furniture is a bit dated, but it was clean. Also, do your own dishes or you will be charged, there was a sign on the counter about that. The room was spacious, we had three of us staying in a two bedroom apartment, lots of room to spread out. The units I believe are individually owned and the one that we stayed in was perfect. Clean, tidy and well maintained. The only negative thing I can mention (which cant be improved by the hotel) is the fact that it is located directly under the Coolangatta airport flight path so the plans are about 150m from the roof as they come in to land. Little Cove surprised us with its incredible view over the Currumbin Estuary, down to Burleigh Headland and all the way to Surfers Paradise. The weather was terrible, so we also got to watch these beautiful big storms rolling in from the Pacific Ocean. The apartment was big enough for two mums with energetic boys, the pool was warm (after swimming in the creek) and the kitchen was very well equipped (right down to spare tupperware containers, a baby bottle and party platters). The only downside is that the "roof" over the balcony is just a piece of shade cloth. We didn't pay much attention and left books, phones etc on the table before the storm hit. Rookie error. The balcony can't really be used if it's raining as there is no undercover space at all. But the loungeroom shares the same epic view, so we survived. Can't recommend the location highly enough. You can walk to SWELL Sculpture Festival or Buskers by the Creek, the surf beach and creek are both a stones throw. If you like to walk, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is also just 1km or so away.
