Very comfortable house with everything you need. In the yard we saw a black bear eating berries, a doe with its fawn, and the usual rabbits, squirrels, herons, kingfishers, dippers and osprey. Coffee on the deck every morning watching the float plane take off from the resort was enjoyable. Peace and quiet and the sound of fish jumping. A lot of history in the area with old towns, mines and mountain trails to explore. Some in our family read two books each while others floated on the lake or hiked the many trails. This was one of the best trips we've taken as of late. The property was absolutely beautiful. The cabin was cozy and clean. The addition of kayaks was great and we had a fantastic time kayaking around the lake. We saw a bear and deer each morning. One thing that was a bit of an annoyance was the bugs. Lots and lots of small black flies that kept biting us (I recommend bringing insect repellent with Deet as the Deet-free one didn't work). Overall a great trip. ##### Anna J.
