We loved our stay here! Our 2 dogs had a blast playing in the huge yard, and we enjoyed exploring all the nooks and crannies of the large fenced property. Places to sit next to the river, around the fire pit or on the porch to listen to the birds made it so relaxing. We were visited by two barred owls! The separate music room is a big plus, giving an opportunity to try out different instruments without disturbing others. The hot tub was pristine and private, great for soaking after a hike. And the cabin kitchen was better equipped than ours at home. Great internet service allowed us to keep in touch with work when we had to. We loved all the outdoor spaces - played badmitton and bocce on the lawn, read in the hammocks, played games on the table by the river, made s'mores at the firepit, ate outside on both decks and soaked in the hot tub. We even splashed around in the river. So many places to escape by yourself or do things together. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen, which had everything we needed. The music shed was amazing for family jam sessions. The inside renovation was well done, comfortable and had all the ameneties we required, plus some extras that were nice - tons of games, DVDs, great exterior lighting, swings, and air conditioning. We didn't have a dog or young kids, but the property would be great for both as it is fenced all around. Apr 9, 2024 #### Lovely I wish we could have stayed longer, maybe forever. The propery is amazing. Neighbors are a little close so I did wish for a tall fence on both sides instead of just the one, but other than that, the outdoor space is just about perfect. The music room was a huge hit with my teens. I was bummed I didn't realize there is a flat lawn space as we would have brought some light sports equipment. The river was awesome as well, with two different ways down. I spent the most time at the fire pit and really enjoyed that space. As far as the house goes, there was very little water pressure in the kitchen sink and I would have been happier with window coverings in the living room/kitchen for evenings as I felt very exposed, but otherwise we had no complaints. The bathrooms and bedrooms are beautiful and well maintained. Cleaning supplies are readily acceasible and labels were helpful as far as providing information on appropriate use of the various aspects. We went hiking on a nearby trail, rocked out with the instruments, hung out in the hot tub and played board games. The river was gorgeous and the owners thought of everything in the cozy house. Made some great meals in the well-equipped kitchen and BBQ, and totally enjoyed the "cabin-chic" vibe, with everything so new and super clean. Very peaceful and cozy, and the three dogs had a great time getting plenty of sniffs while exploring and playing tag all over the fully fenced property. It was a bit too drizzly (and snowy!) to do any time at the firepit, so instead, we tried our hand at being rock stars in "The Studio" with the electric guitars, keyboard, and drums. We went into Sultan one day, but there was plenty to keep us busy right there on the property. The lovely lawn was an unexpected surprise. We were able to spread out and enjoy the River, watch hummingbirds, eat meals outdoors, and lots more. Incredibly well equipped vacation rental. We kept remarking how they had thought of everything.
