Oxbow Cabin is your peaceful getaway to escape into nature. After a day of outdoor adventures hiking/skiing come back to your basecamp to fire up the BBQ or soak in the hot tub on the riverfront deck. Cozy up to the indoor gas fireplace or build a fire in the outdoor fire pit. Walk to epic waterfalls, community beach or just walk down your own path to your private beach. Hikes abound, 25 mins to Stevens pass and 5 mins to the town of Index. Oxbow Cabin: \*2 bedrooms and a loft \*1 full bathroom \*Main bedroom with a King bed and premium Helix Mattress \*Guest Bedroom with a Queen bed \*Loft bedroom with a Queen bed (please note steep stairs - so may not be suitable for some) \*Fully-stocked kitchen with cooking essentials, including a toaster, stove-top, oven, fridge, microwave, waffle maker, spices. \*Cozy and beautifully decorated family room \*Keurig and drip coffee maker \*Towels and Linens provided \*Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, shower gel \*New Washer & Dryer \*Board Games Things to Note: \- Heads up! The loft bedroom is accessed via a steep ladder, which may not be suitable for everyone. \- Just a friendly note: We're part of a private riverfront gated community, so you'll have neighbors nearby. \- Embracing nature: While our pest control company works hard to keep pests away, there's always a chance you might come across one during your stay as we are in the woods in nature. \-Safety first! Rivers can be unpredictable, so please exercise extreme caution (use at your own risk) when near the water. \-In the winter months our neighborhood roads are well-plowed. We recommend All-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive vehicles or bringing chains as we cannot predict snow & ice storms. Given we are in a remote mountain area, these storms can also cause power outages which are out of our control. We do have a backup generator that should kick on if the power goes out. The hot tub overlooking the river with decorative lighting was fantastic. The moss covered trees in the deck were my favorite. I'm from Colorado and i have never seen so much green.
