The Neighborhood: Golden Hour Hideaway by Tiny Away puts you in the heart of Glenlyon’s countryside, just 8 minutes from Daylesford but far from the usual. This is open sky, rolling farmland, and crisp country air with no city hum in the background. Wake up to golden fields, grazing sheep, and the occasional kangaroo passing by. Spend your mornings at Cliffy’s with a great coffee and breakfast, then enjoy lunch or dinner at the newly refurbished Daylesford Hotel’s outdoor beer garden. If you're in the mood for a local drop, Attwoods Winery and Restaurant in Glenlyon and The Burrow Winery in Denver are both just a five-minute drive away, offering incredible wines and dining experiences. The nearby Daylesford Cidery in Musk is perfect for a relaxed afternoon, serving local cider and beer with a great lunch menu, whether you visit in winter by the fireplace or in summer under the trees.
For a more laid-back experience, take a one-minute drive, a 15-minute walk, or a five-minute bike ride to the famous Glenlyon General Store. This cozy spot is perfect for breakfast or lunch, with a beautiful selection of local wines. From there, explore the scenic trails along the Loddon River leading to Glenlyon Reserve—a must-do in autumn and spring when the landscape is at its most vibrant.
