« Enjoyed stay. Would recommend bringing your own charcoal. Charming property, can park 3 cars if needed. We used Hinton as our base to go hiking and explore the area. Lots to do. Comfortable living room. There’s a Kroger nearby for groceries. We had a slight mishap and needed the nearby hospital which turned out to be very friendly and professional. »

« Nice big house good for muti generation family vacation. Everything was as listed except it wasn't clear to us that the bunk room in the basement didn't have a window or any ventilation. Became quite warm and stuffy with 4 people sleeping in there. »

« We very much enjoyed our stay here and hope to come again. The house was the perfect size for our family of four and two dogs. The utility of having a fully-fenced yard when traveling with pets cannot be overstated. House was convenient to all of our adventures along NRGNP, parking and check in were easy, and we were provided with everything needed for our stay - the hosts even left us some snacks to enjoy after our long drive to WV! Excellent property! »

« Step back in time as you enter grandma‘s house and feel the nostalgia with modern day updates and conveniences. Some of the furniture is a bit delicate, but that goes with the antiques feel of the entire house. Beds were comfy- not too soft. Back of the house has a secluded feel from the screened in porch. The house is right along the road, but insulated from most of the road noise. Jeff and Mary Ann were prompt with communication and clear with check in/out instructions. »

« The house was in a convenient location on a dead end street. Accessible to wide variety of hiking spots and restaurants. The house was exactly as described & pictured with all the amenities you would expect. Fenced in back yard for our dog was helpful. « We had a very hot week, so hiking and biking took place in the morning. Afternoons were spent with some sightseeing and a lot of time in our vacation house. There was so much to do there. The theater room and the game room were a definite hit with both kids and adults. Outdoors some of our group used the hot tub, corn hole and the s’mores around the fire pit.
