We had four adult friends vacationing together. The main house is very nice, and has all the amenities you would need, and the supplies are well stocked. The decor is nice, and has a wonderful wine country feel. The furniture is comfortable, as well as the bedding. We never did find a thermostat or heater, so we just used the console fireplace as our heat source. It worked well. The host provided a nice bottle of wine, which was a nice touch. As far as the Casita, it is also decorated in a cute, wine country way. The ladder up to the attic bedroom is a little tricky for women aged 50\. But we were able to manage just fine. The beds are comfortable, but the low ceilings weren’t ideal. The main issue with the Casita for us, was a sewer smell, that I believe was coming from the shower drain, and we were unable to get hot water in the shower. The two adults that were staying in the Casita had to walk over to the main house to use the shower. There is no clothing storage in the Casita, so we had to live out of our suitcases that were spread out on the sofa. There are no hooks or towel racks in the bathroom for hanging towels or clothing. There is only one mirror (bathroom) in the Casita, so two women trying to do hair and make up is a bit tricky as well. An additional mirror out in the living space would be helpful. A full length mirror would be ideal. A few simple changes could make the Casita more enjoyable. Overall, we did have a very nice trip. ![Attic bedroom in the casita.
