The house was perfect, other than some ants, but we’ve come to expect them in the middle of the woods, so no big deal. My family was the original builders and owners of this house, so it was just as we remembered it, along with some amazing new renovations. The Homestead, and more specifically, this house, holds a special place in our hearts! Thank you for allowing us to stay and relive some childhood memories. Enjoyed the location and feeling of being in the middle of the woods. Would have been better with more comfortable furniture in the living room to read, relax and settle down with a movie. The kitchen and grill for breakfast and dinner were great, as well as the updated washer / dryer! Would have been nice to sit on the deck but the patio & furniture needed a good cleaning. Upon arrival we noticed the cleanliness was mediocre, dirty counters, sinks, plates and utensils. Very convenient location, close enough to go for a nice walk, drive into town, drive to a new beach daily and check out so many areas outside of glen arbor. It was one of the best VRBO experiences I have had. The check in experience was easy, and the hosts had very straightforward and easy to meet requests for check out. The bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. The living room was perfect for lounging around to read a book or chat with friends. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook food for two families with four adults and 5 kids. We hope to come back for a longer stay in the future! ##### Jayme D. The home was super clean and updated, the kitchen was complete with all the pots, pans and dishes, and any utensil we could have needed! The appliances were modern and very high end. Our arrival was seamless due to the thorough and prompt communication. House was in excellent condition and VERY clean. We enjoyed making meals together in the full amenities kitchen and relaxing in the evening following all the great outdoor activities in the area. The house has room to spread out and have your own space yet seating for everyone if you want to be together to watch Netflix, a movie, or eat a meal together.
