This lower-level condo is located right on the shores of Lake Michigan, offering unparalleled views of the water and beautiful surrounding nature. The lakeside deck will be the perfect spot to admire said views. It's also equipped with an outdoor dining table for four. The light and cheery main floor living room provides guests with incredible lake views, direct deck access, a smart TV with Netflix, and a fireplace. The snuggly and large sofa is ideal for Netflix marathons! The dining area is complete with a six-person dining table and also great views. The well-appointed kitchen has been equipped with every appliance and cookware needed to surprise your guests with delicious meals and finger foods. Additional appliances include a Keurig and drip coffee maker. There is a second living area downstairs, featuring slides to the deck and access to the beach. This living room is also equipped with a TV and a mini-fridge plus a sink. Please note that this property does not have A/C. THINGS TO KNOW This property is managed by Vacasa Michigan LLC. Parking notes: No parking available. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). So, virtually no communication was made with the property manager. We were just happy to find something to accomodate our group of 6 adults and 3 babies that day! The location right on Sleeping Bear Bay just north of Glen Arbor is second to none! The many windows looking out on the lake was a highlight. The beach is a very short walk from the patio door. The condo is spacious and comfortable. It was probably more room than we needed, but the off-season pricing made it worth it. Despite being part of a building with several other units, it felt very quiet and peaceful this time of year. Overall, we had an excellent experience! We really appreciated the “hotel” type experience with this being a Leelenau Vacation Rentals managed property. They provided basic linens and towels and a few other essentials, and we had minimal cleaning to do upon check out. Their staff was also very kind and helpful when we communicated over the phone before our stay. We would seek out a property managed by them in the future! Other perks: The internet and TV worked great with easy instructions. There is a wood burning fireplace, but we didn’t use it on our stay. The deck has a nice outdoor table and chairs to enjoy. There is a foot wash on the main boardwalk next to the building for sandy feet coming up from the beach. Here are a few nit picky things that may be helpful to know about this property (but didn’t detract from our overall positive experience!): The dishwasher may not work very well because we found bits of dried-on food on the dishes in the cupboards. We hand-washed things before we used them. This property may have been empty for a bit before we got there, because we had to banish a few spiders. Most pillows we found were pretty flat, so you may want to bring your own. This condo has radiant baseboard heating which we did end up using on the cool nights. All heaters are clearly labeled with instructions that they get hot to the touch and to keep all objects at least 4” away. When we arrived we found beds and bedding pushed up against the heaters, which made us uncomfortable, so we moved them over a few inches to allow space. This rental made for a great little autumn vacation spot! We would rebook if we come back to the area in the future! ##### Sarah B.
