Our “island of peace” - as it is often affectionately called by our guests - is located around 2 km outside the village of “Glatten-Neuneck” in a forest clearing of around 8 hectares.
Many cycling and hiking trails offer numerous opportunities to explore the wonderful surroundings and enjoy the northern Black Forest. If you are looking for civilization or tourist attractions in between, the towns of Dornstetten, Freudenstadt, Loßburg, Alpirsbach (known for its unique beer) or Horb am Neckar are just a short drive away. In the Almhütte “Wiesenglück” a maximum of 1 pet (dog) is allowed. Dogs must be kept on a lead on the premises and there is an additional charge on site for pets. If you are looking for accommodation where pets are generally not allowed, you can
our alpine hut “Hofblick”. This is particularly suitable for people with allergies, partly due to the natural log construction.

Tolle Blockhütte in sehr ruhiger Lage.
Pros: Die Ausstattung, sowie der Blick in die freie Natur ließen keinen unserer Wünsche offen.
Die Hütte war super sauber und gemütlich.
Cons: Leider haben wir uns, 6 Männer, wenig willkommen gefühlt, da der Wirt bereits im Vorfeld ausdrücklich auf seine heilige Ruhe hingewiesen hat. Weder waren wir für ein Party-Wochenende dort, noch sind wir in anderer Form negativ aufgefallen. Im Vorfeld jedoch bereits so eindringlich auf dieses Vermietungsprinzip zu drängen, vermittelte uns den Eindruck, dass wir keine gern gesehenen Gäste waren. Die Bettwäsche auf der Hütte hätte bei 30 Grad Außentemperatur gut und gerne für einen sibirischen Winter ausgereicht und die Kissen waren ein wenig ungemütlich. Außerdem möchten wir anregen eine Garnitur Liegestühle für die Terrasse anzuschaffen, sodass man die Natur noch mehr genießen kann. Ansonsten hat aber alles gepasst und es war ein wunderbares Wochenende für uns!
