Its location is perfect for getting about the city by public transport, as bus and underground stops are very close and the surrounding area has a variety of coffee shops, restaurants and bars. Mackintosh's famous Glasgow School of Art, the University of Glasgow and Scottish Conservatoire are all within easy walking distance as are Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the Concert Hall, Scottish Opera and two variety theatres. A link to the M8 is literally round the corner, making it simple for the motorist to travel to any part of Scotland. Liss greeted us and provided the keys as well as some tips on restaurants, groceries etc. The apartment was wonderful. Plenty of space for the four adults in our group. Having a second bathroom was a huge plus. Bedrooms on the lower floor, with a spacious well lit open concept living room, dining and kitchen space. We walked everywhere. Most places were within a mile of the apartment. The Kelgrove Park is very close and has beautiful walking paths. Overall, a wonderful stay. The location was excellent, close to restaurants, within walking distance to Kelvingrove Park and Museum and Glasgow University. The apartment was very spacious and having bedrooms on the bottom floor and living space on top worked out for our group. It was cold and rainy when we arrived in Glasgow and the heat worked great. By the end of the week, the weather was beautiful, and we turned off the heat and could open the windows to let in some fresh air. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay, the kitchen was well equipped and the cooktop with oven worked out great. We fumbled with the washer/dryer combination as this concept was new to us. But we ended up finding the right settings and it was nice to end our trip with clean laundry. Aug 18, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy This mews apartment is in a fantastic location in Glasgow, a wonderful neighborhood near the Kelvingrove Park and West End, but still walking distance to downtown. Owners were very communicative and the flat itself is charming, clean and comfortable. We would happily stay here again. ##### Catherine M.
