"Just as we had hoped! A cozy log cabin with comfortable beds, seating (inside and on the front & back porches), and a spot for the kids to run in the yard. The pond in the corner of the backyard (150-ish? feet from the back porch) was close enough to attract some wildlife to the backyard and far enough to be a minimal draw for the kids. "Beautiful updated home near the lake with all the kitchen supplies needed for family meals. Laura went above and beyond to make sure our two kids had snacks, games, a fire pit supplies at the property. She really makes the house feel welcoming, including bday sign for my husband! There were also lots supplies and we didn't need to purchase or bring anything additional. The upstairs rooms are warmer than downstairs but equipped with HVAC so can be remedied. "We positioned ourselves in Cambridge Springs PA so that we could travel up to 6 hours northeast to 6 hours southwest to catch the 2024 Eclipse. We were fortunate that we needed to only travel about 2 hours west to Ohio to catch the best weather. "House was cute, clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed. I especially liked the fluffy towels. Only about 2.5 miles to the graduation and 15 minutes to Presque Isle for a picnic. Games and coloring things for kids. We didn’t use them but I bet families with kids love that extra. Wish we had more time to explore the area. Maybe again…"

"The house is listed as a mansion. It did not meet my impression of a mansion. It is beautif on the inside but needs some updates. The space for the kids and all the different areas was great. The grounds were under repair and there was no private outdoor space. We did not realize, but there was no bathtub. The property manager was wonderful."
