« This property was wonderful! John was very quick to respond and was so kind from booking until we left. We stayed for a wedding on Oak Mountain. It was about a 15 min drive. The house was so spacious and clean and was perfect for our 8 adults and 1 child. We all loved the upstairs loft, it was such a unique area. We cooked out and had breakfast every morning in the large kitchen and dining room. At night we hung out down by the water and then finished the evening all having family movie night!...

« Awesome place to stay if you want all the comforts of home in a place that makes you remember what old time camp life looked and felt like. I was thrilled with the woodsy camp decor, while amazed to find everything you could want in the kitchen and basically all around the home, that you could need. The lake shore access was very easily navigated, and provided a lovely view, and splash in the lake. Can't wait to return. »

« We were attending a wedding at nearby Oak Mountain and had to be at the chairlift by 3:00. Coming from out of state I was concerned we wouldn't have enough time to get ready after driving 4 hours. But when I contacted the owner, he was very helpful getting us in early so that we could make it to the wedding on time! The house was spotless and was the perfect overnight stay for my family. « The check-in was easy, communication with Mary Beth was great. The house was well stocked. We were there 12 days. We had a pick up a few things to restock, but that's not a problem. The climate in the house is good when the weather is good and could get sticky when the weather is not. We knew there was no air-conditioning so we brought 4 36 inch commercial fans.They helped. The house itself is great and very comfortable. roasting marshmallows and making s'mores at the fire pit was nice. The area...
