"Truly enjoyed three lovely nights and days at the Beach House on Texada Island. Location is amazing with views west of Vancouver Island. Gillie's beach below the house. Beach House is well equipped with comfy beds and linen, small comfy sitting area and dinning area and a gorgeous deck. Lots of exploring to do around the island. We ventured on to Anderson Bay road - which was an adventure - used all of the SUV 4X4 features. Highly recommend this place."

"This historical, tudor-style building had eight well appointed rooms. We stayed in the Jurors' Room which was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The photos, mementos and relics in the hallways were amazing....just like being in a museum! The entire experience was very laid back. It was the housekeeper who checked us in (in fact, we didn't see anyone at registration upon arriving nor leaving) and this was just fine as nothing was lacking, except perhaps for a kleenex box in the room. The beds and linens were super comfortable. The hot water in the shower took a long time to arrive but there was a much appreciated note about this (it is an old building) and once it arrived, it was hot and plentiful! The free hot breakfast made to order in the restaurant was excellent and we absolutely loved the photos and story of Edie Rae. We will definitely return to this gem."

Casual elegance at its best, this cabin is filled with special touches with a well stocked kitchen, plush towels, lovely toiletries and big comfy beds. Tucked away next to a forest with lovely gardens and fields outside your door, the atmosphere is peaceful and serene. Your host Keyolynn couldn't be more welcoming and helpful, she made our stay so special. We can't wait to return!"
