"The house is a very open with a very small kitchen.The back porch is unbelievable.Looking over the lake and also watching the deer in the groundhogs play in front yard watching storms roll in and the sunrise.And sunset. The house is separated from the dock.with warshiping cente it does not get used very often.The dock is shared with another person parks a pontoon boat that makes dock space very limited."

"Walked in, first word: WOW!King mattress super comfortable. Pillows, eh.Decor: perfect. The windows and doors: way to go! Towels and linens very good quality! Not old and thin:(Thankful for the retractable gate at the top of the stairs on the back deck. I loved every minute on that porch.Thankful for a separate outdoor area downstairs so each of us could actually get away for a minute at the same locationThankful to find a very nicely decorated place that is pet friendly- for the people like myself that travel with their own portable vacuum cleaner to pick up after my pet. Only Miss: well I can share privately with the owner. Nothing you need to know about- stay here it’s beautiful. Quiet, clean… we got AWAY"

"This home is spacious with 5 very comfortable bedrooms. It was perfect for our family with adult children. Loved having the kitchen/living room combo and beautiful open view of the lake. We really enjoyed the both outdoor decks and the nice dock. Next time we come, we plan to rent a boat or jet skis. While we didn't use the downstairs kitchen it would be a real plus for those with lengthier stays."

"This beautiful home on Lake Chatuge is spacious, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed for a fabulous family late summer vacation. We loved lounging and swimming from the dock on the quiet but expansive cove and also rented a pontoon boat and spent hours exploring the lake and tubing. We had a campfire in the fire pit one evening and enjoyed the smores provisions left for us by the host and also took a dip in the hottub. Everything about the house is beautifully maintained and labeled to make for a very enjoyable stay. I can't recommend it highly enough!"

"Great property for a family vacation. Everyone from 10 - 70 years old had a wonderful time. The extra amenities offered for our use (kayaks, lily pad, rafts) were much appreciated. Kids loved jumping into the water from the top deck and playing with the multitude of board games available. Kitchen was very well stocked. Melissa was always so prompt with responses and a pleasure to work with. Would stay again if ever back in the area."

"House was fantastic for our month long stay away from Florida heat. Isolated and quiet yet minutes from lovely Hayesville. House was on the river and we loved every minute. Screened porch was our “go to” place for AM coffee, reading, relaxing, and afternoon wine. House stocked extremely well(kitchen, towels, etc.). We loved Hayesville and Hiawassee. My sister and I also fly fished Fires Creek, Mission Dam, Tusqiutee Creek & Nantahala River. Tough summer fishing but it is “fishing “. If I could give more stars than 5 for Wood Haven I would. Theresa was wonderful and very responsive. One of the best VRBO’s I’ve experienced."
