This family-friendly beach house is located right on one of the prettiest beaches on the West Coast of Barbados. It's perfect for groups of any size who just want to kick back and relax. The beachfront house has a large open living area that leads right onto a huge deck with lots of space for dining, lounging and tanning. Stepping onto the deck will actually take your breath away each time - the views of the sea are so pretty, and the sunsets are stunning. The deck is also partially covered - so you can lounge in the shade with a book or enjoy the sunshine. The beach in front of the house is perfect - it doesn't get much better than this! Very easy swimming and stunning blues - if you come with kids their camera roll is going to be very happy. Snorkel, go for walks, tan, take part in water sports - the possibilities are endless. We can also arrange and recommend lots of local tours and activities if you want to do some island exploring. At the end of the day, stroll back into Chateau Monique and settle into the fully air-conditioned comfortable bedrooms. The house comes with a housekeeper who has been with us for years, so you literally don't have to lift a finger while you're on holiday. If you're interested in meals being prepared just let us know! We also know the island back to front, and are happy to make local recommendations for everything from laid-back bars (called rum shops) or fancy dining. There's nothing like walking out the back door and finding yourself at a magnificent beach. Private sunsets each evening! Just a short walk up the beach to a couple of beach restaurants (just allow plenty of time to wait for your order). That said, the house itself is a bit tired and could use an update. Also, I received a welcome email which said to respond to it, if we had any questions. I did this, but never got a response. The only way to reach them was by calling the rental company, or reaching out through the VRBO platform. Which is fine, but it took some time to figure it out. One other thing to be aware of: the house comes with housekeepers, and they are normally there every day. We asked them to come back only once after the first visit (during our weeklong stay), which they respected. But they are there for the entire day. Don't get me wrong, they were lovely, very friendly people. But, we would have appreciated a bit more privacy. ##### Michael S. On one of the nicest beaches in Barbados! The deck was perfect for outdoor eating and lounging in and out of the sun. It had all amenities and was so clean!! Currently there is construction going on next door but eventually you forget it’s going on, because everything else is perfect. The lounge chairs for the beach were very much appreciated.
