We had a lovely 3 day stay at the Tillie Pierce home. No luck enticing the ghost cat to play with the toy we set on the floor! The hostess was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. I would stay here again.

The Innkeeper, Bob, was very pleasant and accommodating. Each room had their own bathroom and there were snacks and drinks available at all times. It was conveniently close to the festivities on the square on New Year's Eve.

Specific atmosphere. Beautiful old house haunted with friendly ghosts. You can feel every second that you are in Gettysburg.

Wow, such a unique story (Tillie Pierce's) of not just the battle of Gettysburg but of the town and it's civilians afterward. We bought the book that she wrote (available at the B&B) and read it aloud and it gave CHILLS as we realized that the things we were reading happened RIGHT THERE. Great way to connect the civilian experience with the overall history. The facilities aren't the poshest - no raised pinkies here - but it was clean and comfortable and all we needed!

We LOVED The Tillie Pierce House! It was beautiful and the history of the house was amazing. We loved the innkeeper too. So friendly and accommodating. Definitely going back!

We had an enjoyable stay at the Tillie Pierce House Inn. We were in town for a wedding, and Gail was very friendly and helpful. The inn was comfortable and in a great location. Everything was within walking distance. Great restaurants, shops, tours, and pubs. We will definitely come back to see more of the battlefield. We loved Gettysburg and the inn!

Unique and friendly
The Inn has wonderful character and the innkeepers are pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was good (however a bit later than we would prefer). The only real concern was that the bathroom had not been cleaned properly before our arrival.

Entering the house was a step back in time. The staff was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the areas rich history. Its location suited our needs as we toured the Shriver House next door and walked to Lincoln Square to hear the 25th annual tuba Christmas concert. As the house is on a busy street, be prepared for traffic sounds during the night.

Lady was wonderful. Bed was very uncomfortable. Shower had mold in the cracks of the shower walls....not a huge deal but i do clean mine at home weekly to avoid this. No tvs in personal rooms. There is a tv in a shared room . Not my thing.i thought it was a great stay other than tjose little things. Its in a great location. They have a ghost cat by the way...which is what we were told, we dont believe in those things, so i just laughed it off, but i will say i was pleasantly surprised....they definitely have a ghost cat. Which is awesome and changes my outlook on life a little hahaha. It was a nice stay , we stayed for one night.

I chose this house for its history and proximity to the national park at Gettysburg. It delivered on the quirky charm I expected in a vintage property, down to the creaky floors and ghost journal in our room. Our host, Gayle, was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and a backup phone charger when I forgot mine. Her breakfast of omelette stuffed green peppers and nutmeg pancakes was unique and tasty, plus there were bagels and fruit available, in addition to coffee and juices. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
