We welcome SCOUTS, FAMILIES/REUNIONS, YOUTH GRPS, or SMALL FAMILIES. The suite--2 bedrms--1 queen bed in smaller bedroom. 4 single beds and a full-sized crib in the larger bedroom. If group is larger, you can use the 4 comfortable queen-sized pull-out sofa beds—hotel quality, in the great room. 2 bathrms/showers. A 340 sq ft kitchen is attached to the suite, seating 12+. Your group may tent and use the bldg and ammenities. Strict $8/person/night over 5 people. Strict NO DRUNKEN PARTIES!! You have access to the whole building plus the large yards and play equipment. Please stay out of the shed, barn, and cow field. You may walk the trails, woods, etc. We would like you to communicate your questions or needs. We like to make our guests time at our place as easy as possible. Please read through this whole thing, especially the captions on the pictures, so you understand what you’re getting. Our homeschool group was headed to Gettysburg for a two day trip and we needed somewhere to stay for just one night. We like doing vacation homes because we can keep everyone together rather than staying in a hotel with separate rooms. After looking around for options, we found this location and I was amazed at how affordable this was and wonderful the property looked. I communicated several times with the host and she was very prompt and answered all of our questions. We got to speak with her quite a bit when we checked in and she was just so kind and welcoming and she really wants to have a nice affordable location for large families or groups to stay. Even for a smaller family, this place would be great. There is a ton of room inside and outside and all kinds of supplies. Our group of 16 was very comfortable and we could have easily had more there. Our WWII living history unit was in town for a recruiting event at the Gettysburg Heritage Center and we needed a location that could accommodate at least 8 people and this location was perfect! We loved the foosball table and ping pong table! Debbie made the check in process super easy. She had notes all over the location so we knew what to do. There's so much space to run around both inside and outside. It's just a short drive to all the popular attractions, not more than 15 minutes away.
