Maggie at the front desk kindly explained the history of the building while escorting us through the impressive hall, beautifully decorated with period furnishings, to our large and charming room. The room was tastefully updated with modern touches—especially an excellent shower—while still preserving the historic character of the property. It truly felt like the perfect place to stay and immerse ourselves in the nostalgia of Gettysburg. We also enjoyed a wonderful supper at the pub restaurant conveniently located on the premises.
