Very clean/spacious room. Newly reno'd /clean bathroom. New beds w good mattresses. Clean soft sheets. Nice to have mini fridge/microwave. Tv and wifi. Parking in front of your room. Great to have onsite restaurant. Lots of variety/choices and excellent food options. Will definitely stay again when we re in the area. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed our stay

Internet was spotty. I had to ask for the sign in information then the connection kept dropping. Owner/operator was very friendly.

I stayed at the Shenstone as it was convenient while hiking the Bruce Trail. The room is simple, cozy, and clean. The best feature is the friendly staff. And out on my hike, two separate people raved about the restaurant (the gyros and the poutine). I brought food but on my last night I ordered food and it was delivered to my room. It was a nice treat!

The host was very nice and the people that was next to me was very friendly. I feel save staying there but the room I got was very nasty. It smells bad( like an older person order or moldy/muddy), the bedsheets was dusty and I did not shower or brush my teeth with their water. I had to buy my own water to do that because the water smells bad.

Price for what was there was not good. Was good they have gluten free option for burgers. No breakfast available on site, but Top Notch down the road does, also has gluten free toast.

Check-in was quick, staff were friendly and property was quiet. Location was convenient as we were visiting family in Wiarton and Owen Sound was just a quick drive the opposite direction.

We like the property and the location is nice, close to Sauble Falls & beach. The place is neat and tidy. The only thing they must improve is the bed & pillows sheets, also the blanket smell really terrible - they have very strong smell of urine and we had to cover pillows with our shirts, but still the smell is too strong and that is very bad. I informed the receptionist while checking out and they took the comment nicely. I hope they can improve it. That is the only thing that can make this place a very good place.

It was better than expected! Was a little scared when we pulled up but the two inside were very nice and the room was fine. The food tho! Amazing! Best veggie burger i have ever had in 12 years of not eating meat!!!! Will crave this until the next time i goto Tobermory!

We were able to rest in this Inn. The owners were incredibly friendly. The food was really good and tasty. We would come back to this place.

The staff were very accommodating as I was a very late arrival but I let them know ahead of time. The hotel is old and needs updating. The bed was comfortable. It was an expensive night for the accommodation available.

Rooms were updated and clean but property was in rough shape. So called premium tv was the cheap basic package mostly pay per view. No pool or breakfast or any other amenities to justify the high price.

The staff were all very lovely and kind. One thing that did stick out was one of the staff members had a cot in the restaurant/kitchen area and was actively sleeping there while the restaurant was open. Did not get any food there. The beds also had a bunch of hair on them and on the pillows.

Thanks for your feedback and rating. The restaurant is open daily from 11 am to 9 pm and the staff was in the restaurant before it was open. I wish you would have had the food here, everyone who tried has really enjoyed it!!

Wifi was available but did not work. When asked at reception I was told it is not a big city therefore wifi does not work. There is also no cell tower at the location so internet access is not possible. Room had a horrible vinegar stench, floor visibly dirty. There are signs of previous infestation of flies/insects because I found a black cluster in the corner of a room that's been recently removed but still visible.

Thanks for your feedback, We have the best available internet facility at this location that is available in this area. All rooms has free Wi-fi access, we dont have city like wifi for sure, but we are expected to get Fiber net soon. This property is not pet friendly and its cleared mentioned on the Expedia site, the property form when you sign in and also on the front desk. You hiding brought your pet in the room without informing at the front desk. When confronted you said you really the place but you will leave a bad review if we charge a pet fee. This is not acceptable. We really hope you will not repeat this again anywhere else.

The property was so overpriced for its dated poorly kept condition. We grudgingly stayed one night but decided we could not stay for the second night.

Price for everything has gone up and if we don't pace with it we wont be able to survive, commercial mortgage rates are to the peak and we have a very seasonal business at this location. The rooms are recently renovated with new floors and new vanity.

Some attention to detail in cleaning the room. Yard has a lot of old garbage they need to pick up. Just dozing off and one of their kids I assume was bouncing a basketball in front of the rooms. Other than that was ok. Very pricey for what you got
