What an incredible little cabin to take a break from life and enjoy nature with the kids. We loved playing in the creek outback, roasting s’mores, waking up to the cool Colorado morning air and the cabin being fully stocked with everything you could think of! We were hoping for a quiet getaway and got just that. A big snowstorm came through the day before arrival, but the driveway was well plowed and we had no trouble with access from I-70 to the cabin. Check in instructions were clear and the shortest check out instructions I’ve ever seen. The cabin was well stocked in the bathroom and kitchen allowing for a cozy stay without having to venture out for supplies. The big TV was easy to use. The best part was the cozy wood fireplace with wood and fire starters provided. We enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal, sled down the driveway hill, visited shops in nearby Georgetown, and saw some elk around town! Disappointed to not hike St Mary’s Glacier because the wind was too cold, so we’ll definitely return in the summer to do that! ##### Casey W. Beautiful location and the peace and quiet we were looking for. The property was clean and decorated nicely for a mountain " cabin ". The deck overlooking the stream was wonderful. Location is good, easy to find, and a short walk away from the St. Mary's trailhead. The hosts were easy to work with, quick to respond to any questions we had.
