Be careful, read all the fine print.....it seems to be all about the money.
We paid a lot of money for a two night stay. We moved the furniture upstairs so we could watch TV, and forgot to move it back. The agent then filed a claim against the insurance that we bought for "furniture moving". It took about 30 seconds to move that furniture! In addition to this, none of the furniture is comfortable. The queen bed slopes to the center, and the mattress is very bouncy and loud. Move your foot, and you will keep moving for a while. The upstairs "rocking" chair is not stable. It flipped over backwards with with me in it, and I smacked my head on the floor! When I contacted the agent about all this, I received no answer at all. They got the cash, why should they follow up? I guess it's all about the money. Needless to say, we won't be back. The one positive thing we can say is that the setting is beautiful.

Nice...but
The house itself was nice, but there were a few things to be aware of. 1) It is right off the road and in someone's back yard. When you see 50 acres in the ad, it is not isolated at all. More of a compound with multiple structures and occupants. Make sure you use the first driveway, or you will be at the neighbor's house with their cars blocking access to the cabin. 2) If you don't mind dogs and the hair that comes with them (or are allergic), don't rent this place...we had to buy three sets of sheets to sleep on. The ones provided were clean, but full of hair. 3) There are several missing light fixtures, so make sure you document them upon arrival. 4) The beat up van on cinder blocks right next to the house makes for bad photo opportunities. Now the good stuff; the fishing is great (catch and release only), the host is excellent and responsive, and the location is very nice. After a shaky start, we loved our stay!

Cozy cabin for a nice get away with good fishing.
Had a great time at the cabin had plenty of beds and sleeping areas. Was a wonderful view of the mountains and nice to wake up to. Only thing that would make it perfect is if it was more secluded but the folks surrounding the area were very friendly and great people.

Overall cleanliness needs to improve and pictures were deceiving.
Beautiful area but Cabin and property around the cabin needs some TLC. Enjoyed walking the property and catching some trout. We were greated by a Moose and Elk which was pretty cool. Also location was perfect for being able to take some short day trips. Was surprised to have a family living within 100 feet of the cabin, but they were friendly and did not cause any concerns. Was also surprised to have previous renters food left in the refrigerator. Also would have expected the refrigerator to be cleaned up as well as the stove. A new set of pots and pans should be considered and the stove top burners are not all operating correctly. Did not use the fireplaces but they also were not cleaned from previous renters. A bit disappointed but certainly enjoyed getting away into the mountains of Colorado.

Perfect Getaway
Exactly what we were looking for! A secluded little spot that was still easy to get to. Perfect amount of space with the right amenities for a city girl in the mountains. Beautiful views & a quiet escape. Can't wait to go back!

Great secluded location, beautiful.
We had a great time here, plenty of room, large grounds, You feel as though you were deep in the middle of nowhere. However it is very Close to Idaho Springs so that you could go out to dinner or rafting and near great hiking trails. The Is cabin is rustic with old plumbing and a faint smell of gas in the basement. This worried us so we keep the window open and would not use the downstairs bedroom. It reminded me of my granddad’s lake cabin. We would stay here again.
