You enter through a private door and go up the steps. The bathroom is to the left and the studio apartment is straight ahead. It is totally private. The owners residence is attached, but this apartment is over the garage area so it is totally private. It is very clean and my wife is very picky! It is very centrally located. It’s in a quiet neighborhood across the street from the beach and visitor center. We had a little trouble getting lost when we first arrived, but once we got our bearings, it was very easy to get around the island. It only took about 10 minute drive to get to Governors Beach, which was our favorite beach. We also liked cemetery beach, which was about 15 minutes away. The location could not be beat because it was centrally located on the island. The owner, Blair was very easy to communicate with. He responded quickly to our needs. We needed to get a new coffee pot and more toilet paper and he took care of that promptly. This is a fabulous place to stay and the price is very reasonable compared to other lodging.
