It is located in the HEART of Genoa, at the beginning of Via Garibaldi, with its majestic palaces and luxurious gardens from the sixteenth century which are part of the Old Palaces System and close to the luxury shops, 5 minutes walk. Despite the presence of historical monuments, the area is full of bars, restaurants, cafés, ancient shops, pharmacies and supermarkets, it is located 15 minutes from the Genova Principe train station and the Harbour where during the summer season boats reach the unmissable beautiful spots such as Cinque Terre, Portofino, Camogli and Santa Margherita Ligure. These locations can also be reached by train all year round. It is also nice to stop here and go to Milan for a day trip since frequent trains depart from Genoa and reach Milan in 1h30 minutes. The Genoa airport is 30 km away, 20 minutes away by taxi. The apartment is close to Via Luccoli which represents a route for a pleasant walk, among ancient homes and shops and leads directly to the Port. On the square there are several historic buildings from the 16th and 17th centuries, included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites In 5 minutes you arrive in Piazza De Ferrari, the main meeting place and main reference for the most important events of city life. The beautiful and strategic position of the apartment therefore allows pleasant walks to discover the major Genoese attractions, such as the AQUARIUM and the beautiful historic centre. It is equally easy to travel by public transport because the bus and taxi stop is right in front of the apartment. The apartment, with great attention to detail, is located on the first floor of a beautiful building with ELEVATOR. Giovanna was also an excellent host, always providing timely and proactive communication. She provided us with useful tips about where to go and eat. We happened to arrive on a public holiday and she went so far to navigate around the area to see what shops/restaurants were open on the day.
