Come relax or enjoy all the excitement that GOTL has to offer! This sweet little Cottage is the perfect spot for a couples getaway to the Lake, or a small gathering of friends. Terrific location, an easy walk to both Breakwater Beach and the Strip, and a short drive to Spire and the wineries. Located directly across the street from Lake Erie. This adorable 500 square foot cottage was built in the 1940\`s and originally stood in the historic Chestnut Grove, one of the area\`s first Cottage encampments. We believe that the Cottage was moved to the current location in the late 1960s when the Lodge was built. Cottage #2 will comfortably house and sleep four guests. This Cottage has a large living area, with a loveseat and a new Queen size pull-out sofa bed. The living area and kitchen/dining area are an open floor plan, with room to comfortably move around. The bedroom is a nice size, and has a queen bed with a brand new memory foam mattress, a dresser and a closet. We provide bed linens for both of the beds. The kitchen has a refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, coffee pot and toaster. It is fully appointed with cookware, dishes and silverware, and should provide you with what you need during your stay. Small dining table seats two with additional dining space outside. We also provide a complimentary coffee and tea set up for you to enjoy during your stay. Bathroom has a walk in shower and is supplied with bath linens for four as well as emergency toiletries. You will access the Cottage with a keyless entry system, for flexible self check-in. Cottage 2 is wifi enabled and has a wall mounted flat screen tv for streaming. It has a drying rack for towels and swimsuits, and a basket of colorful beach towels for your use while at the Lake. There is a small wall mounted heater for chilly nights, and a window AC and two portable fans for those Lake Erie summers. Situated on a large open courtyard, which has four cottages in total. You will have full use of this courtyard, as well as your own outdoor seating, charcoal grill, and a picnic table with an umbrella. The courtyard has a fire-pit for our guests to enjoy and we provide the firewood! Our property is located directly across the street from the lake. This cottage has a courtyard view, parking for a maximum of one car is directly behind the cottage, on grass. If you are planning on visiting the Lake with a larger group and would like to book more than one Cottage, please be in touch! We have 4 Cottages and a larger Lake House on the the property, and can accommodate up to 31, availability permitting. Guests will have the entire cottage to themselves and will share the outdoor space with 3 other cottages. My family and i spend some of our summer in the Guest House on the property, and at those times i will be present. Most often however, i am off site but just a phone call away! Located in the quieter west end of GOTL, between the Lodge and AdventureZone, yet only a half a mile from the excitement of the Strip. Cottage is a 1.25 mile walk or bike ride, or a 5 minute drive from the beauty and relaxation of Breakwater Beach, where you can swim, relax in the sun or paddle board the day away. Property is across the road from the Lake. Parking is limited on the property and in GOTL in general. Golf carts and bicycles are available on the strip to rent and are a great way to get around. Many of the area wineries provide a shuttle, and there is even a golf cart taxi service to shuttle you to and from the Strip! We ask that you limit yourself to as few vehicles as possible when staying with us, as parking on the property is limited. You will have space for a maximum of one vehicle when staying at Cottage 2 which is a one bedroom Cottage. Very clean, fresh cabin. Very well kept grounds. Everything we needed was thought of ahead of time. Other visitors and the cleaning lady were very friendly. Everything was nearby. Adventure place on the corner had golf carts for 100\. Close to the strip, the Lodge, right across street from the lake. It felt retro boardwalk. Everything you could need to start the day with tea or coffee and everything needed for cooking. Sitting area outside was very pleasant. If you're looking for r&r without any hiccups, this lady has it covered. We got there as it was storming and there ended up being no power for everyone east of us on the strip but thankfully we had power. Everything was very clean and had all the amenities we could ask for in a cottage. Geneva on the Lake is a great area with more wineries than any of us could ever visit - but we tried! ##### margo h.
