It was winter so the neighborhood was quiet. We had a beautiful view of the lake and drove to the other side to see the pretty sunset. It was close to Gaylord so if you needed anything it was right there! We had great communication with the owners so that was a giant plus! The house was pretty well stocked but don't forget your beach towels! Over all we would definitely go back! ##### Noel W. We loved the hot tub and rides in the paddle boat. My husband enjoyed fishing off the dock even though we soon learned that the lake wasn't great for fishing as it was very shallow. Great location, only an hour drive to different tourist spots, like Petoskey, traverse city, and Mackinac. Dorene was a great host and she had great communication and was very accommodating when we had an issue with the dishwasher. The only thing I'd suggest is allowing for shorter minimum night stays, 7 nights was a little too long for us. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay! ##### Alicia A. The beach was okay, but not what I would call "fluffy sand." The bottom of the lake was pretty mucky and hard for the kids to enjoy. Overall, it was a good place to stay. ##### Sally N. The property was exactly as described and the house was well equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub worked well and most importantly was very clean. Plenty of room to park our boat in the driveway. Dorene was a wonderful host and provided clear instructions and great advise on local things to check out.
