A beautiful 3 Bedroom 2 Bath Chalet sits in a peaceful secluded neighborhood in the highly regarded Michaywe community. The house is newly decorated and ready to welcome you and your family. The property sits on a double lot with a lot of nice views from the large windows and deck. The high cathedral ceilings are also a site to take in. The location is also just 15 minutes out of downtown Gaylord and close to many attractions all year round. The space This Chalet it sits on top of a hill, in a neighborhood that provides a secluded feeling, but close enough to your neighbors. The house has a two car garage and a full wrap around deck. As you enter the property using the smart lock on the front door, you will see the high cathedral ceilings and large windows. There is a roomy sectional sofa and a 75 inch TV on the main floor. On the right of the sectional is also a gas fireplace for those cold nights. Past the sofa, you will enter a fully equipped Kitchen and dining area. Right behind the dining table is a sliding glass door that leads to the wrap around deck, with patio furniture and a gas grill. The front of the house there is also a firepit. There is also additional parking for large vehicles or trailers on the property. Back inside on the main floor there is a bedroom with a Queen bed, and another room with 2 twin beds and 2 twin trundle beds with both having room darkening shades. On the upstairs floor is the master, which features a King bed with high vaulted ceilings, with a master bath attached, with a large tub. All rooms feature side table lamps with 3 USB ports and outlets for all your electronics. In the basement there is also two sofas with a 65 inch TV and a gas fireplace. Both TV's include Netflix and Amazon Prime, additionally they are smart TV's that can support other apps. This space also has a foosball table, multiple board games and an Arcade featuring 12 different games. The Michaywe community has a club center, with a pool. Our guests will have access to the clubhouse and pool. Location: 22 Golf Courses within 30 minutes of property. Treetops Resorts offering Skiing, Tubing, Dining and more just 15 minutes away. Ostego State Park 6 mile drive from house. All seasons activities for outdoors, including boating, lake access , Skiing, Snowmobiling and much more. Day trips Traverse City is about 1 hour away. Boyne City is about 30 min away. Petoskey is about 45 min away. Mackinaw City is about 1 hour away Mackinaw Island 1.5 hours away. Guest access Smart Wifi door lock for entry to the house. Upon entering the property, we began to put away our food for the weekend and as we opened a cupboard in the kitchen, the door came off the hinge almost hitting my friend in the face. Then we discovered another cupboard in the same condition and a dishwasher that is not installed properly. The heating in the house is difficult to control and the basement gas stove would not turn off. When we arrived, it was 81 degrees in the basement. The owner sent someone to look at the heating and the only remedy was for us to manually turn on and off the heat source every few hours to avoid overheating the room. The other reviews said the kitchen was well stocked but as cooks we found it lacking basic essentials such as foil or parchment paper and it also needs more wine glasses, silverware, and larger bowls. Finally, water from snow on the roof began cascading down an interior wall in the kitchen. We notified the owner and spent the weekend changing out towels from the bathrooms to capture all the water. There are many other smaller issues with the house that could be easily fixed. I was really hoping for a relaxing weekend get away with my friends but instead, I spent the weekend dealing with house issues. I was in constant communication with the owner, and he did answer my texts, but no discount was offered on our stay. ##### Michelle C. This time, we wanted to play in Gaylord, and so we picked this chalet. The house is nice, plenty of room for eight adult males. One thing to be aware of, though, is that two of the twin beds are actually trundle beds, hidden under the other twin beds. Our guys sucked it up, but usually the guys don't like sleeping that close to each other. The deck is nice, the area is quiet and full of deer, and the house is spacious. We enjoyed our time there and hope we can return someday! ##### Thomas C. The location was wonderful for our family, and we enjoyed our weekend together. It is well appointed, very clean, comfortable and peaceful. Of course, we had to have a family Christmas as a blizzard was going through. The caretakers kept the driveway cleared for us throughout the storm. The kids loved sledding down the hill and the adults liked that the kids could be sent to the basement to play. The house was clean and well cared for. The garage was a blessing with the storm.
