We really enjoyed Hawks Nest, New River Gorge and Cathedral Falls which are within a very reasonable driving distance. The Cottage was clean and the kitchen had all the essentials we needed to prepare meals. Having access to kayaks and SUP boards was a huge bonus for us. It was also nice to relax in the evenings playing games at the large table and relaxing on the sofa. The drive to the national park entrance was beautiful with waterfalls and lookouts along the way.
