"This apartment had the most surreal views! It was lovely and clean and comfortable as well. It’s a shared space but you have your own room and bathroom and the other guests were nice and didn’t disturb us at all. But the reason we rate this place so highly is because of the incredible host, Ludgero. "It was a nice Location. The view was awesome. But in the voucher on Expedia was a grill in Apartment 3\. There was no grill. The bed in one room was so small. 2 people can’t sleep there! "

"Just back from 4 nights in this wonderful hotel. It is located right in the heart of Old Town Funchal, a block from the Cathedral, two blocks from the waterfront and near several great restaurants. Even though the hotel is in the middle of a pedestrian area, our room was very quiet. We had a junior suite and it was excellent value, with a large room, spacious walk-in shower, fluffy towels and bathroom amenities. Our rate included a full breakfast buffet, cooked-to-order eggs and pancakes. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. There is also a nice restaurant for lunch and dinner with indoor and outdoor seating and a rooftop bar. I would definitely stay again at this property."
