Having the hotel located in the airport terminal is brilliant. Especially for an early morning flight.

I called this hotel informing them that I had sustained an injury. They told me they were unable to provide any assistance at all. I received help from airport assistance to get to my room, when I arrived I discovered that there was no room service. So I had to forego dinner and breakfast. In the morning, when airport assistance did not come at the appointed time, they informed me that I should have asked earlier... despite their previous assertion that I was on my own. Use this hotel only if you are able bodied, speak fluent English and only need a bed and shower. Be advised, that it will be a tight fit for two people.

Bloc Hotel definitely met the expectations that I had, based on the pictures I’d seen. The rooms, which aren’t really the biggest, definitely make up for with the cleanliness and upkeep. The shower room was fabulous and spacious. Towels and hand wash + body wash were provided. I wasn’t aware of the provision of WiFi in the rooms and this wasn’t mentioned to me during check in, perhaps because I did not ask about it. What I would really say has scope for improvement is the information provided at check in. The restaurant offers, which I accept are available as a booklet within the room, could perhaps be mentioned during check in? I was very hungry and literally dropped my bag off in the room after check in and went to get food, and missed out on a discount on my order. As something Bloc Hotel prides itself in offering, perhaps this is something guests could be made aware of when they check in? Another suggestion is that you could perhaps have a small kettle for tea/coffee to be prepared in the room, rather than having to run to Costa/Starbucks/Cafe Nerro every time. Apart from that, climate control in the room, the comfortable bed etc made my stay a lovely one, and I would definitely come back to stay at Bloc Hotels if the need arises :-)
