The room was excellent, and bed very comfortable. The constant from the staff trying to get us to buy into the Wyndham was very annoying. We just wanted a few days away and they kept trying to get us to hear their sales pitch.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Do not even bother booking with them as they will move you to a different “sister hotel” at the most inconvenient location with zero warning in advance. They know they overbook but don’t bother to inform anyone until check in, as to keep your business and leave you stranded in a parking lot calling around attempting to find elsewhere to stay other than one of their less desirable locations. There was also no apology and they were extremely condescending at both locations as well as the representative from the second location on the phone. Will never use again.

Wyndham Great Smokies Lodge does apologize for the experience you had. Unfortunately, we do have instances where we find ourselves overbooked and as quickly as we know we have our reservations department contact our guest with accommodations we were able to obtain. The resorts themselves do not handle any reservations on property, it all occurs through reservations, and when we know we have an overbooking we act on it as quickly as possible. We do apologize that this happened and hope you will give us another opportunity.

Indoor waterpark was lacking a hot tub/spa. A lazy river would have been appreciated. But the hot tub was the big miss. After a day of hiking in the mountains, I wanted to relax in a hot tub - tub in room is too small when you're 6' 3" tall and 240 lbs.

Everything was perfect, the only complaint our group had was the beds! They were so hard, we woke up with achey backs each morning. But everything other than that was amazing!

It was absolutely amazing. I could not ask for a better room for my family was very clean and well-maintained. They even left a little treat for my son for his birthday on our door which was very sweet. We will definitely be back 100% beautiful location amazing room.

Got to the resort and I was told that the resort was OVERBOOKED and I would not have a room. Expedia did not contact me about this nor did the resort contract me. Expedia told me I would get a refund and composition . Did not get a full refund or composition. The whole experience was very bad. I will let everyone I know how bad it was.

But circumstances happen beyond our control and we contacted Expedia to reach out to about the circumstances and assist you in finding either a new location or refunding you for the stay. Unfortunately, it appears Expedia had not done this. Since Expedia is in control of your contact information and funds there is nothing Wyndham can do. We hope you will give us another opportunity in the future.

I was very disappointed at the way I was treated as a renter. As compared to an owner. I’ve stayed with Wyndham before with family and loved it that’s why I chose to rent with them myself … our toilets didn’t work the whole time we missed appointments w no offer of compensation for our time… but it WAS NOTED … Money spent wasn’t worth it

We do see that once you reported the issue our maintenance associate responded and repaired the toilet. Great family staycation
Great family staycation. Room with all the amenities needed while traveling with kids. Very quiet location with free onsite parking. Feels like home. We chose room with view of golf course and the view from the patio was awesome specially during dusk. Spent most of the time in indoor and outdoor water parks. Location very close to attractions including shuttles running to close by Soaky mountain, Drivable distance to many more attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Staff were nice and courteous. We all enjoyed our stay and will come back again.

Clean, easy check in, great stay. The water park at wilderness is a bit too busy for my liking but we didn’t stay here for the park so it was no big deal. Room was clean, parking was easy, overall a solid stay.

The room is spacious, pretty, and has amenities such as a washer/dryer. The staff were pleasant. Unfortunately, my children were in the bedroom with double beds and all three of them went to bed and woke up with vey large reddened, swollen bites all over them! It was very concerning. We changed all of the bed linens and prayed the swelling would resolve. The next night it happened again. All 3 of the children ended up sleeping on the couch for the duration of our stay.

Reservation changed without notice 🙁
Upon arrival with a reservation made over one month in advance, I was notified that the selected property was overbooked, and was relocated to another property over 6 miles further from the one we selected. We purposely selected one with a water park for our family vacation with children. No advance notification of the change was received, and I was informed that a refund for one night would be provided, and has not yet been credited back to my credit card on file.

We enjoyed Club Wyndham Great Smokies Lodge so much! We definitely plan to come back and stay! Our 2 bedroom deluxe condo was almost perfect. The only complaint I have is that the water pressure in the showers was too low and adjusting the shower head did not help. Other than that it was very clean, updated and spacious. My 9 and 12 year old loved the indoor water park so much they didn't use the one outside. We will next time!

We arrived Friday at 5:00pm ready to check in when I was told they moved us to another property that was 15-20 away from our volleyball tournament which we booked this specific one for location so out daughter could ride the shuttle alone with no worries. With being displaced we had to pay for parking at the event and leave earlier than we needed to each day. The guest manager on duty Alexa was very rude saying we could’ve been sleeping in the lobby. We paid too much and booked 2 months in advance to be told that an email was sent the day before which it was not. Very very disappointed.

A very pleasant stay
The time we spent in our room was very enjoyable. It was spacious, clean, private and comfortable. I wish that we had a little more time during our visit to enjoy the other amenities the resort had to offer. Such a cute little gift shop on site.

The staff was great and the hotel visually looked impeccable until the roaches started showing up and the bed bugs almost eat me alive( my left eye swole up). I had to leave sooner than expected. They did try to accommodate me and change my room and once again I found another bed bug. That's when I decided it was time to pack up my family and leave. Most of the staff in the front desk tried to hush me up so the other waiting customers/victims didn't hear about their bug infestation. Patrick the manager was the only person that gave me an apology for my suffering and tried to be helpful. The other manager could care less. If they fix their bug problem this hotel and amenities would be great.

As you most likely know, bed bugs have become an issue for the entire Hotel Industry ever since the chemical that controlled the population was banned from use. Our staff does their upmost to identify an introduction of these pests, and treat the room, before it is occupied again. These bugs are travelers and are brought into the hotels. There are times the evidence of any pests is not readily visible and we do not find out about the pests until a guests advises us. Unfortunately, occurrences happen, though few, throughout the hotel industry. We hope you will give Club Wyndham another opportunity in the future.

Room 6411 is a Winner!!!
This was our first stay here and the teip did not disappoint. The room was very big, very clean, and very nice. The Waterpark was so fun, the amenities were amazing and there was so much to do we didn't have enough time to do it all. Our room 6411was right across the Helicopter Tours so we would sit on our balcony and watch them. My son was in heaven. We had the best time and will definitely come back again!!!
